This is basically the root of the Sabres problems. From the bad first periods to the comical overtimes, they have too many dumb guys who struggle to get focused and stay focused. It's all mental. And it's obvious when you see guys come in who don't have this problem.

I know Pegula won’t move on any of this, but make the trade for 2 centers, and for gods sake at least replace the powerless play coach and strategy.

I thought it was a fkn p*ssy call by the ref.  Greenway didn't trip him with his stick and didn't stick his leg out.  guy kind of ran into him and fell. Another typical ref deciding to take over a game - let the fkn play go.  Then they heroically kill the penalty off (give Samuelson do props here) and Dahlin thinks he needs ot carry the puv\ck into the Boston zone 1 on 3 when Samuelsson is changing. Why not jus tcircle back and set up a play what possible good can come from carrying it in 1 on 3.  Tage, who has sucked this year btw, is out of position again (like he was in the Toronto OT), and our goalie can't make a big save (again like Toronto).  We've seen Lyon cras down to earth a bit the last 2 games - he is what he is, a journeyman NHL player who better served as a solid backup.  I still think Levi is the #1 eventually here, if Adams doesn't f*ck that up

If Dahlin can’t focus on the game because of his personal life then he is as much of a liability as Bryson is.
