They showed a crowd shot and it's surprising to me to see kids in Sabres gear. Their parents are doing those poor kids no favors. I'm amazed that anyone under the age of 30 is actually a Sabres fan at this point.

Tage has only 5 goals less than MacKinnon over the past 3 season.  If only the idiot Adams can get him a playmaking line mate.  
 

But MacKinnon has way more playmaking assists, a solid two way defensive game, built like a truck, and insane speed.   He is at McDavids level and better in some ways.

Not really.  Among the scoring defenseman Norris candidates he plays a very strong defensive game.

An elite defensemen should know not to do a cross ice pass in their own zone directly in front of an opposing player. That is not being aware of your surroundings

The Sabres as a unit have such a low hockey IQ. Thats the issue.

Players are seemingly always in the wrong place on the ice.

Ruff should be telling everyone to do the exact opposite of whatever play they think is best...

I'm less worried about Dahlin's turnover than I am about the weak backcheck on the tap-in goal.

But elite offensive defensemen turn the puck over.
