I think for the second they need to have the puck carrier shot low while the other two go hard to the net. Trying to set up isn’t working so off the rush might be the best bet.

I'm not sure what is worse, only getting 1 shot on goal for an entire period...or allowing 17 to Boston.

If you aren't going to win the cup, or even with that many games, I can TOLERATE being entertained with high scoring.  At least that is exciting. The absolute worst thing for me watching Hockey is no goals.

adams blew up the offense in order to create a middling defense instead of a terrible one. Just an awful general manager.

Agree.   But still, they really look terrible so far.  

Going back to last season, Ruff has had trouble getting a good first period out of this team.  That smells like a lack of preparation.  

I wish they did a real coaching search when Granato was canned.

And people believe these guys are first liners! Proof is in the pudding! Sorry I ain't buying what Adams is selling. Touch and Thompson are nice guys a good hockey players that do belong in the league...just not first liners BY THEMSELVES!! Might work if they had better players besides them.
