Bruins are atrocious. They are heading straight to the bottom.

Ducks have some good young talent though. That team is on the rise for sure.

edit - and a big comeback from the Oilers to take down the Habs in regulation finishes off the night.

I was bummed when the Habs scored three in a row to take the lead and then didn't check the score again. It's a surprise but a welcome one.

He's a good skater with a heavy shot who can't seem to put it all together. I'd guess can't process the game fast enough.

Its early in the season of course, but based on how things have gone the last 3-4 years, its kinda odd to see the current order of the division standings, pretty much from top to bottom, after these 8-10 games.

The division kind of sucks at this early stage. I feel like Toronto and Tampa did the same thing last year.

It's awful thus far. MTL at +5 and BUF at +1 are the only two teams with plus goal differentials. 

Meanwhile in the Metro the only team with a negative goal differential is CLB at -1.

Keep banking points now through BOS, because then they play one division game (DET 11/15) until the end of December. Ideally, they get a 6-8 point cushion and float over the bottom 5 in the division all year....

I pretty much think this is the way the division is going to go this year. The teams are much more even in maturity and player quality. Florida is hurt, Tampa has little depth. Toronto misses Marner. As down as the Bruins are they still can win on any given night. Wonder if Tampa and Florida are regretting the pre season war they had? No super teams no walkovers will make for an interesting year.
