JoeSchmoe Posted 4 hours ago Report Posted 4 hours ago The worst thing in the press conference hasn't even been discussed yet. Pegula has his daughter sitting in on scouting meetings?!?!?! In what world would this be a thing for any other franchise in professional sports?!?! Quote

It only matters if she’s having input and sway on the decision making. If she’s just sitting there repping the owner than that is likely pretty normal. Quote
Bangarang Posted 4 hours ago Report Posted 4 hours ago Another joke of a press conference from our joke of a GM. How can anyone really be so incompetent and out of touch? 1 Quote

Kind of comical he’s done not a single thing addressing the roster all off-season and got in front of a mic and said he’s executing on his plan I don't think the "plan" is anything complicated or hard to figure out. They don't take responsibility for the situation they created or try to change it they just take it as a given that players don't want to come there. Thus they stripped it down and started over trying to get players who "wanted to be there" (and there aren't many) so the plan is save the money until it's "needed later" and draft their own players that they have some control over and let the team "grow together" until they have drafted enough talent to win. They think it's that simple and that's the plan. Total faith in the draft and their kids. That's it. That's all. They expected it to happen last year with the addition of Ruff to pull it all together and lead them but that failed so Kev convinced Terry they were close and he just needs another year. They're just slightly behind their schedule and if Dahlin hadn't been injured and/or they didn't have to go to Europe and if Cozens had just been better they'd have been there. I'm sure that was his take (plus a few other excuses no doubt). So, they stay the course, and that is all the "plan" is. Quote
