Except for that pesky little issue where it would require an injury to a star player. Even if they’re coming back, I don’t want to see my team in that spot.

Need to get at least 5 points head-to-head with the Panthers this regular season. They'll probably come out of the gates in full "FU, we don't need Barkov or Tkachuk" mode. But you need to be able to beat them when they lose of their best forwards.

He tore his ACL and MCL. Not sure what they are hiding.

Also not sure how the timing to have their best player tear up his knee is convenient for Florida. I would think there is no convenient time for that.

Not sure he is ready for first round with a timeline like that. Leafs might beat them this year.  If they make it to playoff. Interesting to see what Zitos next move is.
