Wyldnwoody44 Posted May 6 Report Posted May 6 (edited) Cmon Bob, can't be looking like Hellybuck Yep, they're getting bad Bob tonight Edited May 6 by Wyldnwoody44 Quote
... Posted May 6 Report Posted May 6 Yeah, not the start I expected, but Toronto is pushing in the first period of game 1 at home. And, right, add bad Bob to that and this is what you get. The adjustment from Florida weather to a Canadian spring is more jarring as one gets older. Quote
... Posted May 6 Report Posted May 6 That PP was good even though they didn't score. It may be the turning point. Marchand with the face rub before the commercial was gold. ... Posted May 6 Report Posted May 6 (edited) This is one those of patented puzzling Panthers playoff performances where they play so bad it makes you wonder how they got there. They're always good for at least a few of those games each season. Edited May 6 by ... Bob was dictating this post. Quote
OverPowerYou Posted May 6 Report Posted May 6 (edited) My wife who knows nothing about the NHL accurately predicted the Panthers vs Oilers last year in the finals This year she predicted the Leafs vs Oilers. She may be on to something Edited May 6 by OverPowerYou 1 1 Quote

I almost always pick the colder climate in the playoffs. Except when it's Toronto/Boston. I cringe and sort of look away but I'll take a Florida win. I always felt that way. But then 99 vs Dallas really set it a blaze. Carolina in 2006. The constant attempts at teams in Atlanta and Arizona. Eichel to Vegas. All of it just kept it burning hot. 1 Quote

PerreaultForever Posted May 6 Report Posted May 6 Bennett be Bennett, otherwise Florida and Bobrovski came out flat. I would think they will be better next game. Quote
That Aud Smell Posted May 6 Report Posted May 6 how the fook does Bennett not get a suspension? … or was the Leafs goalie likely concussed first by that wicked Rheinhardt wrist shot? 1 Quote
inkman Posted May 6 Report Posted May 6 Who was the last Sabre to hit anyone like this I don’t think he ever did that in a Sabres uniform 13 hours ago, PerreaultForever said: Bennett be Bennett, otherwise Florida and Bobrovski came out flat. I want the filthiest players in the league on my team. Enough with the figure skaters. I want to inflict bodily harm on every opponent. I hate what this team has become. I don’t need a dozen Andrew Peters. Just stop removing every player that hits and fights from the ***** org. It’s beyond frustrating and curious that their losing coincides with removal of all toughness from the lineup. 2 Quote
Wyldnwoody44 Posted May 6 Report Posted May 6 Yeah the fact that at minimum 2 times a year we have to question team toughness and sticking up for each other... It's a MAJOR problem. Those teams just simply won't win when it matters. We are the cream puffs sitting in the bakery case and I want this team to be the rock hard stale bread in dumpster in the ally. 1 Quote
