Yeah, not the start I expected, but Toronto is pushing in the first period of game 1 at home.

And, right, add bad Bob to that and this is what you get. The adjustment from Florida weather to a Canadian spring is more jarring as one gets older.

This is one those of patented puzzling Panthers playoff performances where they play so bad it makes you wonder how they got there. They're always good for at least a few of those games each season.

My wife who knows nothing about the NHL accurately predicted the Panthers vs Oilers last year in the finals

This year she predicted the Leafs vs Oilers. She may be on to something

I always hate warm weather hockey teams in the playoffs. I almost always pick the colder climate in the playoffs.

Except when it's Toronto/Boston. I cringe and sort of look away but I'll take a Florida win.

I always felt that way. But then 99 vs Dallas really set it a blaze. Carolina in 2006. The constant attempts at teams in Atlanta and Arizona. Eichel to Vegas. All of it just kept it burning hot.
