They need help at multiple positions on both sides of the ball. Given Allen’s able to keep them in late round draft pick area and Beane doesn’t trade off players for serious draft picks, what are the odds Allen is forcing Beanes hand this season to trade for talent to help them? Not sure that's Allen's, M. O. Quote

Not verbally approached Beane. The question is more about Beane’s ability to recognize the talent in the moment. 1 Quote

Too low for the Bills? I'd think the Sabres have a 1 in 5 chance of making the playoffs while the Bills have roughly a 2 in 3 chance of making the playoffs. How does that get quantified? Is it just 2/15? A little over 13%? That sounds about right. Quote
Gatorman0519 Posted Wednesday at 03:48 PM Report Posted Wednesday at 03:48 PM A top tier QB in his prime with one of the worst WR corps in the league is criminal. Just watch some of the film breakdowns if you think I am exaggerating. We will look back at this in 10 years and it will look much worse than right now. 1 Quote

That said, I think this take is somewhat overblown. Joe Brady bears significant responsibility for receivers not getting open. On a week to week basis, there are coordinators in the league who more regularly get guys open even when they don't have much to work with. In some weeks, Joe Brady is among those coordinators! He needs to have better strategies and better game scripts based on who the opponent is. The Atlanta defensive coaches ate his lunch. Quote

What I’m seeing are defenses bracketing Shakir and playing man on both Keon & Palmer…the ideal offensive matchup. They can’t get open. Brady is not McVay/Shanahan elite, so maybe someone like that could get more out of the WR room? But bottom line for me is this is a talent issue. 2 1 Quote

This place is a blast. 8 years from now, give or take a couple of months. Was in the Charlotte Airport today & toyed with trying to change flights and get a ticket, but it was a LONG (but fun) week. Plus there were a couple of issues w/ the house when we got back. So, probably good that our plans didn't change. Go Bills. Quote

shrader Posted 2 hours ago Report Posted 2 hours ago Really nice end zone seats and we score 5 damn touchdowns on the other side of the field. 2 Quote
Pimlach Posted 1 hour ago Report Posted 1 hour ago Bills get off the scheid. They looked ok, a 40 - 9 win is welcomed. Running the ball was easy today with Cook, but after that we have nothing in the backfield. Passing game looks mediocre still. I just do not like the WR group other than Shakir. Allen's feet and his reads are not up to par still, but I still point the WRs not getting open. I am not sure that Brady isn't get outmatched either. Defense was better with Hoecht in the lineup. Losing Oliver has become a theme for this team. The rookie CB made a play or two. The Panthers were supposed to be better than this. Next week is KC at home, this game was just a warm up. We will learn much more next week. Go Bills! Quote
