7+6=13
Predictable. I don't think he wants to be anywhere near what the Sabres players are about to experience. Not that they'll hate Lindy and he's about to grind them to a stump. Ollie just doesn't seem like the type of player to embrace the suck. My guess is he won't be in the NHL much longer.

Most of us hated what Krueger did to Skinner. Now we want Lindy to do the same thing. I don’t know if anyone can get Skinner to play the right way. Lindy needs to give him an ultimatum and have KA on board. The problem with giving him away (buyout, 50% retention, not to mention the NMC) is finding a replacement for his 30 goals. One more year and the buyout is a much better financial decision and a prospect might be ready to get 20 of those goals. I don’t know if KA has the imagination to get a deal somewhere to get rid of him and get something in return. TP may balk at salary retention.

We can't afford any sort of negative division at this moment. Ruff has to be allowed complete control or this will fail miserably.

He spent his entire career with an inept, loser franchise and finally comes a chance to sign elsewhere and now he’s not tough enough to stick it out? lol this is a great take. The only reason anyone has re-signed here the last decades is security, overpayment, or knowing we are their only suitor. If you want to make the playoffs, the Sabres can't have Olofsson on their team. He has been surpassed by JJP, Benson, Greenway, and I would bet Savoie. They need a veteran player in that spot who brings a lot more grit. 3

Jack Quinn should be an adequate replacement so he can stay healthy. Uh, Quinn is already a better 2way player and was already on a higher line, playing top 6 minutes. LGR4GM
Let's think about the wingers we have. Benson, Tuch, JJP, Quinn, Greenway, Skinner. Are any of them worse than Olofsson? The answer is no and that fills out the top 9 wing slots. You need an upgrade for VO, someone that makes it easier to bench anyone of Skinner, JJP, Quinn, Greenway, or Tuch. Don't ever bench Benson, he is a pitbull.

Agree we need a couple three more vets… preferably with SC experience… and most on the roster need more grit and compete… Adams offseason challenge… Think Ruff will separate the boys from the men in short order. He literally shouldn't. Dear God if Adams goes out and tries even just tries to re-sign Olofsson WTF are we even doing as a franchise? Hawerchuk
I thought Granato and Ellis should have kept Olofsson on the right side powerplay unit 1 with Tage on the left side. That way defending teams couldn't anticipate the TNT one timer everytime. In my opinion it would have really boosted the powerplay this season. Why move away from that option? But that's bygone's now. Good luck Victor.

He absolutely should go to Chicago and get 20+ again for a couple seasons until their kids are ready to win. That’s not a bad gig, really. But as soon as Greenway replaced him, GM Sheevyn should’ve traded him for whatever. Then, when Quinn gets injured, you’re forced to go get a 2W to play with Cozens all season. Also, good job, VO. You made it from a 7th round flier to a legit PP2 sniper in the NHL. And that’s a pretty good run.
