There is some justice in the world.  He was practically a one man team many nights.  Congrats Devon! Well earned.

He is a finalist for the Hobey!  How many goalies win the Hart in the NHL?

Good for Levi.

Watching Minnesota St play I didn’t think McKay should be a Hobey finalist.

They play such a sound defensive system that they very rarely give up decent chances against.

Not saying McKay isn’t A good goalie but he didn’t get nearly the work or shot quality against that Levi got.

I find the College Awards weird.

Power gets Big 10 First All Star, Hughes is Big10 Second All Star yet Hughes gets the Hobey nominee.

Levi wins goalie of the year over McKay yet McKay is the Hobey finalist.

And Levi was named first team All American whatever that means.

They should make McKay play for North Eastern next year and Levi for Minn St. and see how the numbers shake out.

Definitely a factor.  Still Dryden McKay is a great name for a goalie and he has had an excellent career.  4 seasons of sub 2 gaa and save% around 930 with 2 Frozen 4s is an amazing accomplishment.  
 

He needs to play two NHL games to double his Dad’s NHL career.

Some team has to sign him for his name alone. It's fantastic.

Also, yes, his entire career with Mankato has been stellar.
