Or we can trade LW Evander Kane for LHD Cam Fowler and trade the 8th overall pick in 2017 draft to the CBJ , plus LHD Josh Gorges in exchange for RHD Jacob Trouba. The only time a team traded a top-three pick centre for a defenceman (Turris) it was a disaster. Svitov, Stefan (Strome?) are the only busts and they showed it right away. Lots of guys had similar starts to Sam and turned into stars. Four times a team traded a guy as touted as Sam young (Seguin, Turris, Jokinen twice) Every time they regretted it.
