Perhaps this has all been a learning curve for the Pegula's? They bought a bubble team that couldn't make it past the first round. Hired a decent GM and wisely tanked. Now hopefully they realize they need a hockey czar. We are literally one hiring away from any fears about tpegs being a moron put to rest. He's rich, will always spend to the cap and most importantly, will always keep the Sabres in buffalo. It's not like we're the Dallas cowboys of hockey, geesh. And then he refuses to discuss Murray getting an extension last year. Says the Lombardi report is fabricated and in the same realm as Eichel wanting his coach fired.
