Marner probably won't be in the NHL next season.  But I think he will be very good. 

Agreed. I really wanted a depth guy on Chicago, but I couldn't justify the pick to myself that he would ever become more than a 3rd liner.

Didn't read the entire thread, but saw near the beginning an interesting idea. Putting the rosters on NHL 15 and simulating season 1 could decide the winner. After the season is over, you guys could make roster moves/trades to improve your teams. Season 2 could then be simulated. This would be a very long, difficult thing to do for the person managing the NHL 15 updates, but would be interesting. EA sports once made an NFL focused on being a GM. Never attempted to play it, but a friend of mine said it was very difficult/fun. Just an idea for you guys to try out. I'd like to see the results season by season. But again, a lot of work for all of you.

 

Found this NHL GM game online shortly after recommending the idea of using NHL 15. Not sure how good it is, but it may help you guys out.

Well since I have the last pick, what do you guys think of Bo Horvat or Andrew Shaw?

 

I like both a lot. the two other guys I was considering with my last pick are Alex Galchenyuk (just 21, 104 points in 2.5 seasons) and Ryan Strome (50 points as a 21-year-old rookie).
