We are talking about a player that will have a first season that resembles Drew Stafford. Look how that turned out. The only positive is that he plays center which they needed. If they were looking for an immediate offensive impact they really missed the mark. We are talking about a player that will have a first season that resembles Drew Stafford. Look how that turned out. I think we were taking our cues from Canucks fans who were upset to see him go. He was putting up good numbers in Vancouver with very little ice time. He gets the benefit of the doubt for now. He's had the worst travel schedule of anyone in hockey since the trade deadline and maybe one practice with his new team. Realistically, I'm not sure how much he could do.
