SwampD
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YfZkoYR4I7A&feature=related Pure Gold!   I think I was about ten years old. I know we didn't have cable yet (although we were the last family to have it on our block). My mom came down to the TV room where I was and asked what I was watching. I told her it was this great Canadian show. I somehow got SCTV on the rabbit ears and had been watching it for a couple of weeks at that point. She agreed and watching the show (I believe on Wednesday night) became a regular thing in our household. It kinda jumped the shark when Ed Grimly showed up.
