Out of the two sports that I know of that have shootouts, only the Olympic version of hockey allows a shooter to go again before his/her entire team has tried. Bad, bad. The AHL switched back, but they used to have five designated shooters, who (I believe) could shoot any number of times after the first best-of-five.
