wjag
What about Crash for Kaleta? Isn't that how Cunneyworth referred to him a few times? If you're going this way, I recommend Bandicoot... Seems appropriate

Chief Enabler
Don't forget the Goose! Also, I like "Pigeon", although I think we should spell it correctly. I can just see ol' Jaro sitting down to play cards and talking some smack in that Eastern European accent. I'd also suggest: Big Al Mad Max wasn't there one for hecht that was floating around last year? i was thinking AK-47 and Ahgivethepuckov.... Yo-Yo is a winner
PASabreFan
Roy and Sekera already have those nicknames in the lockerroom. This is all very jock-sniffy for me. A friend of mine calls Max "Avaginaov."

BTW, where on earth did you get that avatar? Very bizarre. I miss that one where you had the Slug as a toupee on Barney Rubble's head.

inkman
This is all very jock-sniffy for me. Dude, I couldn't agree less. Imagine, someone referring to a thread I start as jack sniffy. How many posters have less positive things to say about the players than me. Calling Tallinder "Third Man In", a direct reference to his "alleged" rape, doesn't sound so kiss ass to me. Calling Stafford "Mouse Potato", a direct slap in his face to his exact quote about his critics, isn't exactly a compliment. If you want I will go through the entire lineup and think of derogatory nicknames, otherwise we'll go with what's at hand. Lighten up...

FogBat
You're introducing the topic of rape here and want ME to lighten up? For once, I agree with you on something. That was way out of line, and it certainly isn't funny.
R_Dudley
Here is all I can gather, and no I'm not including any player nickname where the guys just add "ie" to hte end of the first syllable of a players last name, i.e. "Petey" I'll keep it updated as we compile the list. Lets make a rule that at least 5 (?) posters must agree on said nickname. Connolly - The Skill (no confirmation needed) Spacek - Pidgeon (no confirmation needed) Gaustad - Goose (no confirmation needed) Hecht - Yo-yo (pending confirmation Roy - Sausage (pending confirmation) Tallinder - Third Man In (pending confirmation) Stafford - Mouse Potato (pending confimation) Sekera - Reggie (pending confirmation, although a close violation of above rule) McArthur - Little General (pending confirmation) Peters - The Blind Haymaker (pending confirmation) Kaleta - Crash (pending confirmation) Bold - updated  Connolly - The Skill Spacek - Pidgeon :Need something more lively like his personality  Gaustad - Goose  Hecht - Yo-yo Roy - Sausage not sure I care for that but don't really care, abstain  Tallinder - Third Man In: Tallywacker ? Stafford - Mouse Potato  Sekera - Reggie McArthur - Little General (Like General but prefer "The general") Peters - The Blind Haymaker okay but with him "Puff" comes to mind  Kaleta - Crash other's not listed but some suggestions  Rivet : "JackHammer", "Machine Head", Afinaganov : "Maddening", Miller : "Fashion", Lydman: "The Closer", Teppo : "The Heart", Mair : "Stallion"
Claude Balls
I like Mr. Hanky for Tallinder since the other name isn't going to seem to work. It's nearing the Christmas pooh season anyhow. Another for Miller - The Stroke
