I just wish he used more than the same three words to make a complimentary statement about the quality of a play.

Please don't breed. I like Marty a lot. I think he should be on our broadcast, maybe doing some intermission analysis to start, but I could see him quickly making their way to the color commentary chair.
-
Alright, I can't take it anymore. Someone buy Rob Ray a thesaurus. Every time, EVERY TIME he analyzes a replay, he says either "nice job," "good job," "great job," or "excellent job." He must be stopped. I like Rayzor, but I also like good color commentary.

Arguably the guy who married the supermodel, if only for the first few years.

The tank is not complete, at the very least, until we draft first or second overall in 2014. Retaining Miller doesn't necessarily imply that the tank is off, but it does likely mean that a) we won't have as many picks and b) we might have to try harder to lose. I am prepared to tank until the 2015 draft. "The time to take counsel of your fears is before you make an important battle decision. That's the time to listen to every fear you can imagine. When you have collected all the facts and fears and made your decision, turn off all your fears and go ahead!"

The Flyers always have made and always will make terrible goaltending decisions. Nope.

Oh man, I want the Islanders to suck so bad next year.

Yes, corporations will dominate the unregulated information age and they will screw us.

Neat. I'm an Ally, so I'll watch that when I get home from work.

I would not be surprised at all if Regier is employed next season. Calgary would be a good fit for him.

Grigorenko refuses (but then) goes back to Juniors

In Soviet Russia, clubs send Junior's back to YOU. -
LA. I miss playing in Madison, where playing outside was free, pickup was like $5 for two hours, and leagues were about $120-140 for like 25 games.
-
Hockey by me is ludicrously expensive, but we pay it, because ###### not playing hockey. I just paid $420 for 14 games ($30/game avg), and that's one of the cheaper leagues.

Yeah, I just wrapped up my first intentional offseason after years of playing year-round. It was nice to get away from the game for a little bit, but I'm much happier getting back into it.

They might get an ok showing on Friday night, but that arena's going to be crickets Saturday.

Looks like Los Angeles is going to Los Angeles the hell out of the Dodger Stadium game, complete with beach volleyball, roller hockey, skateboarding, and a KISS concert. Why not? Non-traditional hockey markets are non-traditional. Let's get a beach volleyball contest between the Kings and Ducks ice girls.

Ahaha, what is he, a college English professor? Allow me to introduce Dr. Paul Hamilton, professor of Russo-Anglo Linguistics. Tool boxes. -
How's the lift capacity on that thing?

I can see where he's going with this. He's referring to cheap used skates that are beat up or were fitted for someone else with little support. Not sure if I chimed in on this thread yet referring to the OP, but good fit is CRUCIAL. When I worked in the shop, that was one of the first things I learned how to do- fitting people properly for skates. Years later, I still fit a lot of my friends for skates, because no one wants to trust Zitty McFitwrong. EDIT: In fairness, I was pleasantly surprised by the guys at Hockey Giant. While I fit my buddy, I was keeping an eye on how they were fitting folks, and they seemed to get it.
