Updated Evander Kane Cleared in Sex Offense Investigation
pi2000 replied to Brawndo's topic in The Aud Club
I'm not saying he didn't do anything wrong... well, mmmmuhhh, actually I did, well I meant "nothing wrong" in the eyes of the legal system. The only (provable) wrong thing he did was sending a snap. Everybody speeds, some more than others... everybody uses there phone while driving too... and that doesn't make it right. At least he didn't crash into a Tim Horton's and flee the scene. -

None of that can be proven in a court of law. He's done nothing wrong. -

nothing illegal about that (i'm assuming he was speeding on a closed course race track). -
Speaking of the Darcy let themOilers, imagine if sign Vanek and took their 5 first round picks a eam and maybe they wouldn't have had such n the fold, but what if t ended up with hey did? We'd have ended up with guys nd Yakupov if they took the same guys. s compensation back in 2007? Man oh man oh malike Eberle, Hall, an.... the league would be completely different. I understand EDM wohigh picks with Vanek iuld've been a different t Maybe BUF would'veMcDavid too?

permutational mathematics.. duh!

O'Reilly, Kane, Eichel, Reinhart, Ennis, Girgensons who doesn't belong?
-
Top 6 isn't the problem. I look at guys like Fasching, Bailey, Baptiste, Hurley, Karabacek, etc... someday as potential 3rd liners who can contribute offensively. Guys like Foligno and Larsson belong the 4th line if at all in the NHL.

Buffalo is still in 3rd last (based on % of points lost).... https://www.talk.hockey/tank-tracker/ ...which translates to: 11.50% chance of picking 1st 34% chance of picking in the top 3 86% chance of picking in the top 5

I haven't had even the slightest urge to cheer for losses. Last season was unique in that by finsihing last we we're guaranteed McEichel. This season, there are 3 studs in the draft, but finishing last doesn't even guarantee a top 3 pick. And the consensus number 4 is a defenseman who would fill a huge need on the Sabres. So it's just not worth the effort to cheer against your favorite team. Just enjoy watching them grow and battling for wins, let the draft fall how it may.

Should be a fine! But why dive there, he could've borken up the 2 on 1. WTF was Girgensons doing trying to stay onsides? The puck is over the line and he kicks out his back skate in the air, then drops it back on the ice after the blue line? Awkward. He was onside and almost put himself off by doing that.... just drag the back leg if you think it's close.

best to worst risto pysyk bogo mccabe weber gorges franson carlo ..there's a reason Montreal and Nashville let Gorges and Franson go. They're slugs. Buffalo has literally the slowest defensive group in the entire league. McCabe is probably the best skater. Risto needs to get faster. Bogo has speed but he's just not quite there yet after missing half the season. I can run faster than Gorges, Franson and Weber can skate. Replace those 3 with better skaters and this is a playoff team.

Consider there infinite parallel universes. In at least one of those universes Matt Moulson scores a goal tonight. We do NOT live in that universe.

...if TM was a buyer at the deadline, this could happen: http://www.sportsclubstats.com/2010-2011/NHL/Eastern/Northeast/Sabres.html However, he won't be a buyer because finishing the season on a glorious run only to exit in the first round of the playoffs and losing half your team to UFA in the summer, is not the long term goal of this franchise. And I'm OK with that.
-
4 of 10 maybe? With a healthy Ennis, and productive Moulson, this team would be 8-12 pts better. They've lost a lot of 1 goal games early on. They lack speed on the back-end. Opposing teams attack this weakness and it translates into turnovers which lead to scoring chances. Replace Weber, Gorges Franson with better skaters and suddenly pucks are moving out of the zone on time and they spend less time defending.

I've recently been on coaching staffs with Patrik Stefan, Scott Neidermayer, Jeff Friesen, and a few other ex-pro's (Jr Kings, Jr Ducks). I'll sum it up by saying that just because you were a great player doesn't make you a great teacher (especially for kids). Some of the best coaches are not very good players.

I don't know. Johnson will make some incredible stops, but them let a few softies in. He's an enigma IMO. The goal he allowed vs the Coyotes, the one vs I forgot who but it was a late goal from a bad a angle he should've stopped. He's just not consistent enough making saves he should be expected to make. His stats look very very good, but when you actually look at the goals he gives up you're like... meh.

Those goalie stats are great, nice find WIldCard. Ullmark a full 10 percentage points better QS% than Johnson. Will be interesting to see where Lehner ends up at the end of the season. What ever happend to the McCabe/Pysyk pairing that was doing so well earlier in the season? Any details on the nature of Reinhart's injury? I would guess concussion? Maybe broken jaw?

That's a slap in the face. Stamkos is as good as gone now.

Confuscious say, he who run behind car get exhausted. Rangers should have heavy legs from yesterdays road game in Ottawa. Sabres need to jump on them early if they want to give themselves a chance.

What did they order? Has to be something light I would imagine.
