  1. The Coyotes are 0-4 vs CGY this season losing by an average score of 4.25 to 1.5. Flames need a win to maintain a playoff spot. CGY has the 3rd worse Corsi for % in the entire league, while ARI ranks 22nd. So I expect shots to be fairly even, hopefully MIke Smith continues his stellar play of late and Hiller has one his classic swiss cheese games where he can't stop a beach ball. Looking ahead ARI plays VAN on Thursday. They're 2-2 vs VAN this season, one of their wins coming in a 5-0 shutout at VAN back in Nov. They just about have 2nd place in the Pacific locked up but have lost 2 of their last 3, their win coming in a shootout over LA 2-1. That said, I don't expect ARI to pickup any points in either game.
  2. ...minus the speed and hands. He has a very good hockey IQ for a kid his age, but he's slow and weak. He could use a season or two in Rochester to acclimate to the pro game... slow cook him like the Red Wings with all their prospects, especially if Babcock is in the mix..
  3. Its fan appreciation night in CBJ Friday. They're literally the hottest team in the league right now. That said I expect ARI to win one their next two making Fri's game irrelevant.
  4. The Canes are on pace for 69 shots. They're not mailing it in.
  5. That's a great way of looking at it.
  6. Turd burgers tonight? What's their record in those things?
  7. Based solely on the season he had this year in Kootenay and the fact he's built like like an 11 year old? Probably in the 7-10 range just because he was so good at the WJC.
  8. Meszaros Benoit still here. Myers Stewart gone Connor McDavid
  9. One more loss to go The insanity will end Mission accomplished
  10. This insanity needs to end Monday night.
  11. ARI's first regulation home loss since Jan 5. Wow.
  12. http://www.sportsclubstats.com/NHLlottery.html How does 98% sound?
  13. So that's a 4 point lead for BUF with 3 games left... Essentially a 5 point lead because tiebreaker. One more BUF win and it's over.
  14. Don't forget what happened last in Buffalo, this is far from over...
  15. Somebody trip the breaker at Gila River!
  16. Just heard on WGR that Nolan talked Hasek out of retirement for the stretch run.
  17. Yotes bury one... Well, kinda it went in off Burn's stick.
  18. At least they'll be fresh at home tomorrow after this horrible effort tonight.
  19. Lindback starts tonight, Nolan said it's possible that Makarov starts tomorrow on the Island. Moulson (flu) and Weber () are gametime decisions. Scott Darling gets the start for CHI. He's 8-3-0 on the season with a 1.77 goals against average and .941 save percentage in 12 games (11 starts).
  20. exactly, they need to make the range of numbers assigned to each team public.... imagine the drama.... it's like everybody playing lotto at home watching the drawing on TV..... first ball up... yes! still in it.... second ball, yeah!.... third ball.... , Hanifin it is....
