    With McEichel in the fold, I think one or both of Larsson or Grigorenko getmoved in a deal for a big burly winger who can put up 15-20 geno's.... like a Scott Stevens (Mario) or Craig Simpson (Gretzky). Maybe that guy is Foligno, who knows, but With McEichel, Reinhart and Girgensons down the middle, there's extra pieces to flip for help at wing.... or a veteran quarterback for the PP, to tutor the young guys.

    GMTM is a scout at heart. IMO he wants an experienced head coach and will give him plenty of leash... So somebody like Babcock would be a perfect fit. And I don't believe for one second that Murray thought this would be a 30th place team after adding some pieces in the off season.

    John Muckler HC. Trade Grigorenko, 2016 1st, to move up from 2 to 1 draft Eichel first, who then decides to stay in school. Pysyk retires. Trade Foligno for Ryan Miller.

    Jack Eichel is not your typical star athlete. Based on his history I expect him to return to BU for one more season. And I'm OK with that.

    You could say the same about ARI and TOR. In fact if you look at the last 2 months of the season, ARI and TOR were hands down tanking worse than BUF did at any point over the past 2 seasons. ARI missed the playoffs by just two points last season.

    He looked gassed at the end. PC was hitting him every chance they got and he was getting frustrated even took a penalty. He's 18 playing against 22 year olds (avg age of PC is 22y 1m).

    So with a top 2 pick locked in, what are the chances BUF can trade up from 2 to 1 if they lose the lottery? I wouldn't put it past GMTM.

    This is the happiest I've been as a Sabres fan in the last 10 years. Thank God its over, I promise never to cheer against you again Sabres! We did it!! Its been an honor going to battle with all you fine young gentleman. God speed!
