Looking forward to the men's road race Saturday morning. It's a moderately tough course, 241km (150mi) and 3600m (12k ft) of climbing. The last 17k's are flat, but I expect there to be a significant separation by that point. My favorites include Valverde, Nibali, Mollema and Aru.

I think the real teat is how he manages the salary cap with guys like Eichel and Reinhart. Can he make the right moves to take this team from playoff regylar to Cup contender year after year. That said I like the bold moves, he's aggressive but will he know when to back off and just build on existing assets?

Marincin settles with TOR for 2 yrs at 1.25. I would expect the arbiters decision on Tyson Barrie to be announced sometime tomorrow.

Anybody can take one the worst teams in NHL history and make them noticeably better. The hard part is going from playoff team to Cup contender. We're not even a playoff team yet.

Looks like ARI and Stone settled on a 1 year $4mil deal, so they avoid arbitration. Only 2 arbitration hearings still on schedule... Tyson Barrie 7/29 and Martin Marincin 8/02.

24hrs to go before Barrie's arbitration hearing. tick-tock If it gets there, I'll say he gets awarded $5.1-5-5 mil and COL chooses a 2 year deal. The hope is they award him 6 or 6+ which COL might balk at.
