    Yes, I think both Laine and Puljujarvi are overrated (and Matthews for that matter). Laine is just too slow, yes he has a fantastic shot, but he has zero foot speed.... won't translate well to today's NHL. I really like Chychrun, a lot.

    If anything it should go the other way. Auston Matthews should've been in the NHL this season (which would've helped his cocaine addiction right?).

    Yeah interference shoulda been the only call. Ehrhoff needs to protect himself there... there's a proper way to take a hit, and that's not it. Don't penalize Reaves for that, it's not like Ehrhoff had his back turned and was defenseless on the blindside.

    IMO it's more important for this group of young Sabres to start believing and learning how to win games, than it is to acquire another top 3 pick. IMO, there's not enough difference between picks 2-7 to cheer for this group to lose games at this point.

    Just imagine if Buffalo beat the Coyotes in regulation at home last year towards the end of the season (ARI won in OT). Arizona would've finished with 54 points, Buffalo with 55. Arizona gets Eichel. Consider there are infinite parallel universes. I'm glad we don't live in that one.

    A regulation win puts Buffalo 3 points behind the Habs, and 10 points out of the final wild card spot. Is that what we want? Yes!!! (?)

    Every team is beatable, this is the NHL not the NBA or NFL. That said, I won't be shocked if Buffalo wins, but I will be pleasantly surprised because the Rangers have proven throughout the course of the season that they are the better team.

    The Rangers without Lundquist are a better team than what Buffalo will put on the ice tonight. You can't argue that.

    How much better is the connectivity? I looked closely at projectFi last year, almost took the plunge, but I love my Galaxy S6 too much to give it up and I don't have any issues with dead zones anywhere near where I live, except one rink where my kids occasionally practice... but I don't know a projectFi phone would help there anyway.

    Well, mediocre is still better than Buffalo at the moment (sans O'Reilly, Ennis, and 5 million dollar version of Matt Moulson).

    Sabres have a bunch of winnable games ahead of them. This is not one of them.

    BUF is still 5th in points lost %. They just played 2 teams below them in the standings. I still think they finish in the bottom 3 along with TOR and CGY. EDM is playing better, and so is CBS. WPG might challenge, they have a tough April.

    When the team is bad what do you want the reporters to say? Ignore the fact they suck and praise them every chance they get? I like that they call a spade a spade and don't sugarcoat everything just to appease the organization. The media should hold them accountable and they do that. I have no problem with any of them. That said, when the team starts winning and makes a playoff run they'll have something positive to say.
