But really, how complicated can the deal be, it can only be max ELC. GMTM probably fabricated the contract before he even traded for his rights. Should just be a matter of presenting the deal to him which could easily be done when the clock strikes noon.

This is similar the Justin Schultz drama in ANA a few years ago. He was ANA property, but he choose to wait it out and signed with EDM. I remember being at an ANA/EDM game and asking my friend (who's a huge ANA fan), why the entire arena is booing that one guy every time he touches the puck. It was so loud, and it lasted for years and probably still happens whenever he's in town.

well, yeah. But it's not like somebody posted the entire incident on FB or TWTR. AFAIK, there isn't any video evidence of any wrong doing going around... Sure the news spread over social media, like all news does.

Although I'm not sure social media had anything to do with Kane's most recent incident... or the previous incident, or the one before that.
