My source says nothing is imminent.

Start him out with thurd line dooties, then if he lights it up, move him up... But no way do you start the season with him in the top 6... Unless he shows up with 4% body fat and kills it in camp.

Thanks I'll check it ewt.

Is that the John Scott podcast?

How many times has Clarkson been traded now? And Buffalo can't find a creative way to move a healthy Okposo? They couldn't move Moulson either, or Sobotka now? C'mon JBOT, use your imagination.

As a former player, I enjoy listening to their stories and hearing their different opinions on things... it's just like sitting in the locker room listening to your teammate's opine about random topics no matter how terrible their opinions might be.... it's entertainment. If you're looking for astute hockey analysis, this is not it.

Agreed. Again, I love the simplicity. I just hope the color on the crest matches the gold striping.... hard to tell from the image. -

Looks like somebody took the crest off an old jersey that was left out in the sun too long. -

Doc said I have hip dysplasia (shallow hip sockets) which was news to me... it's the leading cause of hip arthritis in people under 50. For someone with dysplasia, high impact sports will wear out the joint quicker than normal, so time for some lifestyle changes I suppose. -
She looks like a little kid, man I feel old.

hmmmm, as I sit waiting to get an MRI after a hip injection... I do like the simplicity, would need to see it in a different light tho. -
Olofsson has that shot. What does Routsalainen have that makes him special? If he's just an overall good prospect, that wont be enough.

Looks too much like St. Louis. I knda hope if they go back to royal that they add some 3rd color to give it some pop.. like some silver or red or something... maybe. -
As time passes JBOT just seems to be too patient with guys... giving them chance after chance after chance to prove themselves. He did it with Housley, TT, Mittlestadt, now guys like Hutton and Larsson, etc... It's good to be patient, but some are just so obvious to the casual fan, that it's just too much. He waits and waits, while the team nosedives and pulls the trigger after the fact.

Sheary, Sobotka, Scandella

Anybody concerned about goaltending? Hutton, IMO, is not a starter... Ullmark has even more question marks. Still think they need to make a move at that position to compete with Hutton and Ullmark in camp. Hammond? Meh

It's all bunk. Good defenseman play tough minutes and put up good stats, they don't need apologists.

Roslovic was the 1st round pick BUF gave to WPG in the Kane trade. The pick originally belonged to STL but went to BUF as part of the Ryan Miller trade.

Some TRpm data for the past season. TRpm is the difference between the players actual +/- and what their expected +/- is based on their teams performance, their number of games played and % of minutes played. A TRpm of 0 on a good team means you're an equal contributor to the team's success (when compared to your teammates). A TRpm of 0 on a bad team means you're an equal contributor to the team's failure. eg, Brett Pesce had an actual +/- of +35. CAR's even strength goal differential was +22, over 82 games that's +0.2683/gm. Pesce played 73 games, and averaged about 20min of ice time (33% of 60min). Over 73 games, we would expect CAR to have an even strength goal differential of 73 * 0.2683 = 19.59. Pesce played 33% of total minutes, so his expected +/ would be 19.59 * 0.33= +6.5. However, his actual +/- was +35... a difference of +28.5.... meaning that CAR had a much better even strength goal differential with him on the ice than without. In summary, this stat tells you which players helped or hurt their team the most.... eg, on a bad team, negative TRpms identify the players who are weighing the team down... those players most responsible for the teams' lack of success. Likewise, a large positive TRpm on a bad team identifies players who might be attractive trade targets ? Min 20 games played.
