Sure, I see Cozens as a 40-50pt guy. Depends largely if he gets time on the PP, I just don't think he has the skill level or IQ to find PP minutes for himself. 5-on-5 I see him as a responsible 3C who can contribute at both ends of the ice.... just won't put up big numbers like Zegras has the potential to.

Ultimately I see him as a faster, slighty better skating Patrick Berglund. He's not a high end skill guy. His hockey IQ isn't next level. He's not going to wow you with his hands. However, he seems like he works hard, has A+ character and plays a 200ft game. TBH, I liked Zegras better as a prospect, I see lot's of Jason Spezza in him... but maybe a guy like Cozens is more of what Buffalo needs in their lineup? Just tough to pass on a higher skilled player. We'll see how they develop.

If you look frame by frame, you can see the tin sitting next to the empty water bottle before he reaches for it. This video appears to have been shot during the season? I now have this image in my head of Casey where he just sits in his room all day ripping through tins of chewing tobacco to fuel his Fortnite addiction. Prove me wrong Casey!

Came across this video of Dahlin showing off his condo that he shares with Case Mittlestadt. Casey makes an appearance at the 4:20 mark... he's zoned in on a Fortnite match, and he reaches for and hides a chewing tobacco tin in his lap. The water bottle is clearly his spitter. Should we be concerned about Casey? Video games and chewing tobacco? Not a good look for him IMO.

Today's game is a game of skill. I rate Zegras with higher end skill than Cozens. I think both will be fine NHL players, but I don't see Cozens filling a top 6 role due to his lack of elite skill. He's dominating juniors because of his size and speed, but that won't be as effective against grown men and he doesn't have those elite hands to fall back on. I see him as a replacement for Berglund. Zegras, however, I see a lot of Jason Spezza in him. Has the potential to be a big point producer... Those guys are harder to find.

I want to know why they picked him instead of Zegras... who has the skill set to be a difference maker in today's game. Cozens seems more of a throwback type player.

I know his dad Craig from the Jr Ducks. Good family, Ryan was always super skilled just was small, a late bloomer physically. Craig coached a lot here with the Jr Ducks and now is director of coaching. He was always big on skill development, didn't spend much time on team drills at practice. Ryan has great puck skills and great edge work. He's a kid that could really blossom once he learns how to play within a system... and if he continues to grow, his Dad is tall.

I'm gonna guess some random Swede or Fin.

But what if he's their best option at 3C? That said, I'm not a huge fan of this pick because of his lack of elite skill. It's a skill game these days and I'm afraid he'll never get there... hope he does tho.

Living here in socal I got to see him play a lot. He would shine for stretches then stink it up for a few games. Seems to rely too much on positioning at times... anticipation is still developing. Still needs to grow in some areas.

Why does every team need a goal song? I'd prefer a win song. It sounds dumb when your down by a bunch of goals and score with a few minutes left and then you hear a song but know they're going to lose anyway... It's seems forced. Just play a song if they win the game.
