I have this nightmare about DR handing out the extra 2nd round picks they have accumulated like candy, to move up a few picks in a given round, just to say "see how smart we are". At that point(middle of the first round and beyond), the draft is such a crapshoot, either use the picks in a trade package for a player, or stay where you are and pick wisely! It is critical for this franchise to send DR packing as soon as this season is over. His screw ups in terms of BUILDING A TEAM, far outweigh all the trades he has "won", or the "brilliant" picks he has made.

Players: Miller, Leino, Scott, Stafford, Hecht, Ellis, Adam, & Vanek Others: Regier, Rolston, assistant coaches(all of them), 300 level concession workers, Chet & Muffy(they are FAR worse than fans that boo), Sylvester/Peters

I'd rather have them miss the playoffs and get a better 2nd round pick. Going from the 5th round to 4th round is not as valuable as moving up 5-10 slots in the 2nd round. ;)

Maybe you should WATCH the game before judging why the fans who PAID to see the game in person decided to BOO. It was some of the most inept play I have ever seen from this team. Embarrassing. :doh:

Pegula at Amerks game last night instead of Sabres game. Can't say I blame him for choosing to see the farm team over the sabres.... Unfortunately they lost 3-1.

Jerkoffs! Play like ###### all season and when the only thing on the line is draft position....they start winning. I hate these f***ers!

I watch almost all games, and yes, during the games I am hoping the Sabres lose in hope that they end up with a top 3 pick(MacKinnon, Jones, or Drouin).

The audio of Miller being interviewed about Pominville is priceless. When talking about being a teammate of Pominville for 11 years, he says "nobody is going to feel sorry for us". I don't know if it is the whiny voice, the fact that he is slightly above average, or something else, but get the f*** off my team this summer!

You do know that Vanek has 1 year left on his contract? Even if he had 5 years remaining on his deal @ 2 mil per year, the teams holding the top 3 picks are not moving them especially not for Vanek. Bet the house on it.

I'm not saying they are winning a cup with the rosters they have today, but how are some teams having great regular seasons without top 6 forwards loaded with talent(for example Ottawa & Montreal) while the Sabres are within arms length of rock bottom? There is something really wrong here from top to bottom.

Paul Hamilton is full of himself, but this morning I thought he was really reaching. He stated that based on DR's comments at the PC yesterday, that Miller and Vanek will both be traded in the offseason. Anyone else read between the lines, and form that same opinion? Don't get me wrong, I think it is a possibility that one of them is moved(which may then cause the other one to ask for a trade), but I don't think it is guaranteed to happen.

Put Guitar Hero in the press box for the rest of the season. I knew it was too much to ask of Darcy to get rid of this turd.
