  1. No to Nolan and no f***ing way to Housley. I'm telling you(IMO) it will be Patrick for the rest of the season, and then open season on the entire hockey department once it is painfully over.
  2. I'd be shocked if it was Rolston, even on an interim basis.
  3. All the Lindy news, and I didn't even see this. I'd waive Scott every time instead of McCormick. The days of the enforcer are over. If you need double runners, you shouldn't be in the NHL. Unless there is something going on behind the scenes, I don't get it. A team with few guys willing to finish a check, and they just send one of them packing.
  4. Do you know what "interim" means? Trying to find a permanent coach in mid-season may really hamper their ability to find the right choice. Patrick for the rest of the season? Who cares.
  5. 1 - I'm shocked that "Coach for Life" is gone 2 - I'm glad this is the last time I will have to use the phrase "Coach for Life" 3 - I expect Patrick to be named interim coach 4 - I would not be surprised if the Sabres show Regier the door if they miss the playoffs. I have a feeling he was given the ultimatum of fire Ruff, or you will both be fired, and he chose his job over his BFF. That's all I got.
  6. It would be even better if it was Bucky or Sully.
  7. Sylvester might want to consider calling in sick tomorrow. Either that or take no calls.
  8. Girgensons out again? Not more concussion symtoms I hope.
  9. I'll be honest...I haven't seen Leggio play at all. That being said... 1- His number over the last month seem to be a lot better than your borderline AHL goalie 2 - Can he really be that much worst than Enroth at this point The reason I bring this up is that Lindy is once again heading down the road of running Miller into the ground.
  10. It's bad to get your ideas for fixing the Sabres woes from watching the movie "Goon".
  11. If the word that DR wants to get out ot the other GM's is "Stafford has been sucking to the point of finally moving him to the 4th line after 16 games", than yes, this is a precursor to a trade.
  12. I'm not quite sure why they don't call Leggio up for a start and to backup Miller for a week or so, and let Enroth get a few games in with the Amerks on a conditioning assignment. Would Leggio have to clear waivers? Seems like a no brainer to me.
  13. If he wants to be reputable, blog under your real name, and when you make appearances on 1270 with Rich Gaensler, don't do it using a bad Don Cherry impersonation. Pretty embarrassing.
  14. So is it just a lottery for the 1st pick, or will they continue to select "balls" until all non-playoff teams are slotted?
  15. No time for making players uncomfortable in the locker room. They are all too busy making sure no one steps on the logo. Rip that logo up...ASAP! They have no business getting upset about a visitor stepping on it, when they play the way they do while wearing that same logo.
  16. I just wish that the next time Miller sucks, that one of his teammates would blast him publicly afterwards. It's a two way street Millsie. I'm sick of his outbursts when he is good, and the team not so much, but usually the generic "WE have to be better" in games in which he is less than stellar. Oh by the way, despite some very good saves, he was unbelievably slow in reacting to the cross ice pass on the GTG goal, and could have been out closer to the top of the crease on the GWG. Can't wait for the "Goalie for Life" contract.
  17. Way to kick a fellow Sabres fan when he is down. <insert fyou emoticon>
  18. I completely agree, and find myself in a much better place, if i miss a game here or there, and refrain from posting from time to time. Not a fun time to be a Sabres fan. :(
  19. I love how this has become a bash Bucky thread, and completely ignore the point at hand, which is Pegula's stance on R&R. Pegula, Black, Regier and Ruff thank you profusely. Hope you enjoy 16 more years of mediocrity.
  20. Maybe he's hoping that the one person who doesn't have a firm grip of the obvious reads the paper today. ;)
  21. Crosby, and there is not a close second.
