  1. Is this the same as when J-M Liles was rumored to Buffalo for several deadlines in a row because he & Miller are BFF's? For all we know Regehr and Iginla can't stand each other.
  2. I hope they lose this game and every game after it this season. When they go on their dramatic run for 9th place, Regier stays on, and minimal changes are made in the offseason, don't come crying to me.
  3. I voted that I hope they tank(obviously I don't expect them to stop trying, but I want them to lose and lose and lose) for 4 reasons... 1 - I want Regier gone 2 - I want a top 3 draft pick 3 - I want at least some of the remaining core gone 4 - I don't want them to "settle" on Rolston as a permanant coach
  4. I haven't posted in a few weeks as I am disgusted with this mess of a team. I can only hope they continue to lose and end up with a top 3 pick in the draft, and Regier is sent packing. That being said, I will be at the game tonight, and my hatred for all the drunk Canadiens who will be out in force tonight, will leave me with no choice for at least one game but to cheer for the Sabres and hope for a 10-0 victory. ...then they can go back to losing for the rest of the season.
  5. For those going to the game today be prepared for possible traffic issues... http://www.buffalonews.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20130301/CITYANDREGION/130309890/1002
  6. ...and as I pointed out last week, IMO he will probably be looking at another HC come September.
  7. Send Grigs back to the Q NOW. I don't know what is so valuable about him being here for practice, but it is not translating to anything during the game. Dominating the Q has to be a better option than this. Even though the coaches(both LR & RR) aren't doing him any favors by putting him with 4th line scrubs, he looks completely lost whenever he does get a chance.
  8. ^^^ This. Thanks to Golly/Quinn/Regier, they turned their backs on Briere because they decided to put all their eggs in the Drury basket, who in turn told them to ###### off. That was 6 seasons ago. It's over. Just suck, and hope for a top 3 pick come July.
  9. Not to nitpik, but according to the nhl.com boxscore, Kassian had 6:52 TOI, was a -2.....and no hits. http://www.nhl.com/ice/boxscore.htm?id=2012020282
  10. I'm open to any trades, but I thought ridding the team of Connolly and Roy was the "culture shake up" the team needed so badly?
  11. I voted MP because MO does not indicate that DR will be let go after the season.
  12. I can only think of Cleveland as a city whose sports fans are tortured more than Buffalo's fans.
  13. Miller has had some very good games, and also some pedestrian efforts. You aren't one of the worst teams in the league without some goaltending issues. I am starting to wonder if Miller is gearing up for an Olympic run(much like 4 years ago), where the Olympic year in his NHL career was the exception not the norm. I am really not sure if I want the Sabres to hand him another big contract after this season ends. I've stated this before, but If they can find a stop gap for a couple of years(until Makarov, Ullmark or another draft pick is ready), I'd be willing to deal Miller in the offseason for a nice haul.
  14. I wanted him to go back after the 5 game tryout, and now knowing that he will more than likely be on his 3rd NHL coach with less than 50 NHL games under his belt, I definitely wish we had sent him back.
  15. Not as bad but Yashin is in the ballpark.
  16. Whatever. You know what I mean...or maybe you don't.
  17. I know what the word means, and after watching him for 4 years, IMO, there is no chance he will become "Shea Weber Lite"or whatever you want to call him.
  18. He is not going to be a cheap amnesty buyout. 36 mil remaining on contract after this season.
  19. I will continue posting here. Nothing more than a figure of speech.
  20. Sorry but there is nothing that indicates that Myers "ceiling" is what you described above. His play has gone downhill the last 3 years, and I'm not even sure if he has a ceiling of being a top pairing blueliner on an NHL team anymore.
  21. His contract will go down as one of the worst ever.
  22. I didn't listen to the presser, but some of the posts here seem to be a little over the top. He was a head coach of a professional sports team. They get fired all the time. He coached this team longer than the norm of a coach in a pro sport(way longer). 3 days ago, the vast majority on this board wanted his head on a platter. Now they want to canonize him. Wake me up when Regier is fired, and Pegs decides to turn this franchise around.
  23. It is like listening to white noise, so I wasn't really paying close attention, but I thought I heard the WGR guys just saying that win or lose, Rolston never addresses the team after a game. Kind of odd.
  24. The only problem is Reebok has dozens of highly paid graphic designers who despise the KISS principle.
