Any team is a destination when they are winning. When you haven’t made the playoffs going in 14 years no one wants to jump on that sinking ship. players and more importantly agents aren’t stupid. They know what a joke Terry and Kevyn are. Kevyn’s only option are players with no trade protection. They are not a serious franchise. That only changes when Terry decides to step back and bring serious NHL people in to control the team or he sells the team. Until nothing changes. Draft picks mean nothing because they get beaten down by this culture.

You forgot with number 4 that there are absolutely no financial constraints placed on Kevyn, none at all. Kevyn will also pretend to be really mad again like that other PC. He’s been practicing in the mirror.😁

I saw the score was 4-0 Buffalo in the first and literally the first thought in my head was “they will lose this game”. I can’t believe that being a Sabres fan has come to this. So sad and pathetic. That was a Thanksgiving hangover effort. Tage was completely lost out there today. They are lucky they got a point out of it. Lankinen played great. They desperately need a true playmaker with great offensive IQ for the PP. Better find their effort tomorrow and come away with a win.

“They have a really good record but…” is an interesting argument. You are what your record says you are. They are not an offensive juggernaut but they are a fast, tough team that gives up very little defensively. That is what succeeds in the playoffs.

No shame there. That was a hell of a game. Minnesota are a legit team that play a very fast and hard game and Buffalo stood toe to toe with them all night but just couldn’t find that goal. You always want Tage to shoot but man if he slid it over to JJ there at the end I think the game is tied. If they play that game every night they are a playoff team. Lindy has them playing a playoff style. Regroup and come out hard next game. This team is rounding into shape. Adams does need to bring in another proven scorer. I love Benson’s game but he is not ready to be an offensive threat yet. Bring in a legit scorer and move Benson down to the third line.

Knock on wood Milano can put a healthy stretch together here. If he rounds into form that is a huge lift for the defensive side of the ball.

Why is everyone throwing Quinn away? Its not going to take Quinn to get a struggling prospect.

Joker and Rosen for Jiricek and a pick is what I would offer. Jiricek is a project that needs AHL time to develop. He doesn’t help Buffalo make a push for the playoffs this year. Adams would need to make another move for a top 6 forward/ solid defensive dman for this season.

You are right. I mean this team could only hold on to Kulich, Helenuis and say Komarov and Strabek, and move all the other prospects and still be in as good of shape as some other franchises. They can easily move a couple for pieces to help this team win now. I expect that to happen. Adams fully realizes that his career is on the line if he doesn’t get this team into the playoffs this season. And with the likes of Boston and Pitt falling and Ottawa and Detroit sputtering there is a real opportunity to make a serious run at the playoffs. Bring in a vet piece or two and at this team up to succeed.
