He can play. He signed his elc last summer. Once his junior season is over he is eligible to play in the AHL. If the Sabres were in the playoffs he could play for them right now.

How can they possibly pay him more money. They gave him one of the worst contracts in the league. Overpaid for 5 years that walked him right to UFA. He hasn’t delivered when it counts and he wants another raise. They have to trade him.

I have yet to see Luke Hughes play D and I have watched him play many times😛

Michkov is the ultimate wildcard with this draft. The talent is there to be in the same breath as Bedard, Fantilli, Carlsson but the Russian factor, the contract and Rumor he might add 2 more years to it, the unknown around his dad’s passing (is there more to the story we will not know about because of Russia) all have to be weighed by GMs. I have no idea where he is picked. Arizona with 2 top 12 picks, Washington or Detroit are my best bets. Im intrigued by Pronman’s statement that he is hearing that Benson might be available in the teens because of size. Him and Savoie are dynamite together. I have a hard time believing he falls that far but stranger things have happened at the draft.

Yep and everybody seems to forget that this season is a revelation for Montour. Even last season he was nothing special for Florida. He is having a career year at 29/30 years old. His trade value a couple years ago shouldn’t be based on what he is doing this season.

We will have to see if he is assigned there. He might be banged up after the playoff run.
