    They stopped the bleeding by beating 2 extremely good teams on back to back nights. And, still have a flicker of hope for the playoffs but probably need to go 9-1. If the teams chasing the WC all go 5-5 ish, we get in. Could really use a Caps regulation win tonight.

    That’s my concern. Or is the plan playoff contenders by the 2024 season? We might have to make a “hockey trade” or 2 involving a prospect … or 2 that we like.

    So it Savoie, Levi, and Kulich are on this team next year - and Anderson, Olofsson, Zemgus, and Okposo are gone - would we be a younger team in 2023 then 2022?

    Am I reading this right - we’re currently 10th worst record?

    So are we Kyle. So are we. The Bills were tired to. But they had a teammate die on the field 3 weeks before their season ended. They could probably use that explanation. I’d rather hear our captain say “yea I think unfortunately we may have accepted the math and the odds and believe we’re done.”

    I agree and to have 30 assists - playing with mostly who all year? Look of course you can do better then him and I wouldn’t lose sleep if we packaged him to get another D Man. I just think he’s been much better and doesn’t warrant some of the hate thrown at him. I wouldn’t be surprised to see him around 60 points if you surround him with a bit more talent on the 3rd line. Which next year could it be Casey-Savoie-Kulich?
