Chill Lol - I was doing quick math new new math in my head for two teams; I caught my mistake made the edit. I know the history of these 2 franchises inside and out. The Bills blew their Allen rookie contract window. The Sabres are asking us to wait a few more years. It’s fine I understand what KA is doing. But dam. One! Can we get one friggin title?

In 2 years - it will be 55 years without a Stanley Cup. And 60 years without a Super Bowl. This city is cursed.

No not make up. Im sure we were calling and inquiring. You can describe/report that as any way you want which maybe they say - “oh yea Buffalo is most definitely in.” *Fans go full F5* When in reality we just made a few phone calls. The journalists aren’t wrong. I’m not trying to over think this here. I believe based on the price if we really wanted him we would have got him.

Did they tho? Were we really in on him? Or do the insiders know Buffalo fans of both teams soak these leaks up online and give them plenty of clicks.

Remember when it comes to the players we don’t get: 1. Does the player even want to be here? 2. Does he fit with the team? 3. Does he fit in the locker room? We don’t really know the answers to these questions. Players in all the major sports have a ton of say/leverage with where they want to go and few teams can afford to take on the risk and hoping the player will just learn to love it in Buffalo. If KA isn’t sold the player wants to be here we won’t try to acquire them. That’s a massive part of his plan and it’s working.

I think we need 30 points. 23 games left. Not going to worry about tiebreakers but that means somehow essentially winning 15 of 23 games. Won’t have Dahlin plus Tuch the next 2. I’m just going to hope for the best this week v Boston and Tampa not stress it no matter what the teams around us do. So now it’s 21 games left come next week. Have to go 15-6. Maybe they want to get on a run like that with a fully healthy Dahlin. And get Tuch back the last 15 games (hopefully?). Need 30 points. Minimum.
