The assets bolster the pipeline for the future with potential. A 34 yr old Kane on a 2 or 3 yr deal, with an even stronger team of youth who have accumulated some experience appears to be a good fit imho.

It is a somber, humbling feeling to watch as the sun sets on this magical broadcast era of Sabres hockey. What a fantastic ride we all have shared with him. I wish him nothing but the best in his years ahead. So here's to you RJ, you have, are and forever more be "Top shelf, where momma hides the cookies"!

I believe it is the freedom to play without the pressure of the playoff race. They haven't played well with any consistency until this latest stretch of games, and while they are learning to be a cohesive unit on and off the ice together, they are doing so with no pressure on them, making it fun to play hockey imho.
