Is anyone else concerned that Marner only scored 13 goals in 64 games last year? Or that Dylan Strome only had 10 goals in 60 games? In comparison, Reinhart had 35 goals in 72 games in the season before his draft year. Possibly an age factor? I just hope these guys aren't one year wonders in their draft eligible year if we don't get a top 2 pick.

That's possible but I guess it would depend on return. I haven't focused in on Hannifin too much but at one point he was the clear cut third best player in the draft and is compared favorably to Seth Jones. If we drop a spot or two I would be fine with it if we are getting back something worthwhile. Hopefully a guy that can fit into next years lineup rather than a 2016 2nd or something to that effect. Ya if management feels he's ready for the big club I'd assume McCabe would go in for Weber so that he keeps playing. If not then Weber plays on that bottom pair and some other vet comes in as the 7th swingman.

I don't think you were going off the deep end at all. I guess I should have prefaced what I said by acknowledging that having a healthy child and wife is the most important thing. I realize others sometimes have a difficult time in regards to conceiving and after the child is born and I pray that either way the child is healthy. That aside, I was just looking for any advice I can grab as raising a girl kind of scares the out of me for some reason.

Can't wait for this to be the last year of the 'tank'. I'm really looking forward to seeing some of these kids next year. We will likely still struggle but not having to watch guys like Strachan and Flynn is going to be a blessing. I thought he's looked very good and I liked McCabe's game as well. So my wife went in for her ultrasound to find the sex of the baby. It's a girl. I was a little disappointed at first as my son has been so much fun but it will be great raising a girl as well. Plus the added bonus is with us having a boy and a girl I think I can talk my wife into deciding we're done (already stressing their sport and education costs). Can anyone with a daughter provide any tips/advise?
