Exactly, so pumped he will be the face of the franchise. As nice as the number one pick would have obviously been the way the game is called in the playoffs eichel will do just fine.

I don't disagree with this. But I think the Tank was still considered. As in, if Kane was healthy then I bet TM waits until the offseason to make that trade. -

So after being told at my wife's ultrasound a couple of months ago the baby was likely a girl, we had a 3D ultrasound done last night (those pictures are crazy looking) and surprise it's definitely a boy. It will take some adjusting now since I've bought purple paint for the room (luckily haven't painted yet) and a bunch of pink and purple nick nacks for the bedroom. My sister was more devastated than we were. But the Fn Fantastic news is the baby appears to be healthy and developing properly. Really that's the only important thing. Let's hope it continues smoothly for the next 3 months and beyond.

I'll take the over on both. Am I reading this right that Crosby put up 102 points his rookie year?! That can't be right. If so, and McDavid is suppose to be at that level and Eichel not far behind I'm definitely taking the over. I get it was a different era right after the lock out but still...... -
We can actually debate this now. Has it not sunk in for anyone else yet? Let's hope to God whichever phenom prospect we get lives up the hype.

Well said woody. It's literally the first day of a new era. Was anyone else superstitious like me and not read a ton of eichel articles? I must of stayed up all night reading some and wow, this guy sounds good. I know he obviously was highly ranked but reading these things and knowing he's coming, wow.
