Not the same position so tough to compare but I’m very happy with the contract.

It’s still very surprising the only adds on D were Clifton and old man johnson. Nobody else brought in to pair with Levi. Seems like this team is just ready to take off with one or two big moves. Frustrating either the Sabres don’t see it or cost of acquisition was too high. Let’s see how it goes. If it goes poorly how long will KA take to adjust his plan?

That’s what killed them last year in regular season matchup in Buffalo. Wasn’t all the leaf fans in attendance. It was UPL whiffing on two longer, routine shots that went in. This team is ready to sore with league average goaltending. KA refuses to address such a glaring need. Yes Levi looks great but do you really plan on starting him 55+ games in his rookie year and expect there to be enough in the tank come playoffs? Someone not named Devin Levi will have to play probably 35 to 40 games and that scares the hell out of me.

Dang. Sounds like I won't get my hopes up. Agreed that the transition to Sportsnet Plus went pretty smooth. As I now partly live in Buffalo I can tell you its much cheaper and more convenient to get the games living outside of Buffalo.

All Sabres games can be streamed in Canada via Sportsnet Plus ($250 for the season). I see they're also carrying the game tonight. Woah. Hopefully it isn't blocked as Sportsnet Plus is the only provider now I believe (use to be NHL Live).

I saw the roster for tomorrow but not the lines. Very much assumed the regular top line would reunite. They know what they have in the top line so don’t blame them. Just a little surprised they may give Benson a game with TT and Skinner. Should be fun.

I’m not sure this should matter. This is the nhl. If you’re not good enough you will get passed over. Should the expectation be he is gifted a chance before benson because of age?

How much longer before we can include benson in this discussion? He’s too good for Wenatchee.

Rosen. Looks like I'm late to the party on him but wow he was terrific both nights. From what I had read and limited viewing of Rosen I was expecting almost nothing and felt like he was moving very close to bust territory. These two games have opened my eyes. He looked faster than I thought. He had better vision than I thought. Its only two games but I thought he looked just as good or slighlty better than Kulich. Was hoping one of Savoie or Kulich would step up and make the Sabres out of camp. I think Rosen deserves to atleast be in conversation also. He's probably Roch bound but wouldn't be surprised if he gets a callup stint later in the season.

We had an awesome time at the game and look forward to going again tonight. Good price on Sabres gear there too. Various Sabres ball caps $15 each including tax. Sweaters at $30 felt like pretty good value as well. There were a few Montreal jerseys scattered throughout the crowd. Maybe sabres should have used zip code when selling these tickets.

Bills have missed on too many high picks in recent years. It’s killing them. Hope the Sabres can keep drafting well. So important in salary cap era when ur paying star players to have the cheap contracts add value.

I Donno man. Most likely yes. But I want whatever is best for his development and the betterment of the Sabres. I’m not rushing him because we have nobody good at the nhl level. I’m having him on the team if he earns a spot and plays lights out come preseason. Which may be unlikely but is far from impossible.
