Whoa a pretty big statement because if that's true he has a bigger you know what than you guys too. Than again you doctors and lawyers don't really need one of those to get the girls you got the moohla!!!!
-
I don't need him to be the GOAT or anything like that, I just want him to be really really good. My personal take for next year is that he'll make the usual rookie mistakes but he'll also wow you once in awhile with his play. I remember seeing Jack in Dallas his rookie year and him making a play (didn't score) but even the Stars fans were like WTF kinda move was that WOW. It was right in front of me and the Doohickie so it was especially sweet since we had our butts handed to us in that game. That's what I expect from the kid next year.

Mine will be to stay positive on the team no matter if they exceed my expectiations or fail to meet them again. Nothing can be worst than last year though so this should be an easy one to complete.

I'm not only glad for Ovie finally getting his cup but that TJ Oshie interview after the game was pretty awesome too. Glad he won one too.

I hate those real temps too!!!

Skinner, Hanifin, 2nd round pick for ROR & Bailey/Girgensons, anything less than that is a no no in my book. You then have Risto-Dahlin-Guhle-Hanifin as your top 4 of the future, pick up a UFA center to get you thru until Casey is ready to be a #2.
-
I don't think so, I have a 60" flat one in my living room By the way I went to the Paul Simon Farewell tour concert Saturday. That was as awesome as the 12th row seats I had just off center stage. Sweet.

Didn't he go at 22?? So how was Murray going to take this kid at 23? I agree that this was an awful move for Lehner though but revisionist history aside most guys liked Lehner until last year on this site when he was less than stellar in his performances.

Why would the Preds trade him??

I'd keep PP1 as is and add Dahlin and Casey to PP2 and that should really help them improve PP2 was almost always terrible

I'm a little late on this and I'm far from a country music person but Chris Stapleton, Zac Brown are pretty good and an album that's been out for awhile with Mark Knopfler and Emmylou Harris is worth a listen. Also Joe Ely was a good listen too a while back especially his live albums.

I was hoping for the same thing. I'm a bit disappointed in the Star, expected more content. It could be they didn't receive enough subscribers, so if the Athletic did decide to grab someone, it would probably be pretty easy

Movies / TV Shows - I Have Watched / Plan To Watch
jsb replied to Sabres Fan in NS's topic in The Aud Club
Shout out to you and Sabills, I binged on the first 5 episodes of season 1 yesterday during a rain storm. It had me hooked after the first episode and it only gets better as the season moves along. I told my daughter about it and she said it not only was great but she told me about it 500 times, total BS, 450 tops as far as I'm concerned but definitely worth watching. -
^ Don't be trying to fix your well earned reputation at this late a date :P

Congrats, good luck, don't spend it all in one place!!!

Both refer to the same procedure, however one is in English (electrocardiogram –ECG) and the other is based on the German spelling (elektrokardiogramm – EKG). It is common to use the German “EKG” in the United States because “ECG” sounds very similar to a different procedure called an EEG. Copied and pasted that. Unlike a blood test, there isn't any restrictions on a an EC/KG

You are a cold blooded assassin

To me RJ has the advantage of being the old standart bearer, so he gets forgiven for just about anything while Dan gets beat up for saying too much if you're watching the game on TV or saying too little if you're listening on the radio. Tough job actually to please both crowds.
-
And the other half we won't know who actually is carrying the puck. RJ is blind as a bat, doesn't recognize the players and can't read the numbers. I've been a big fan of his but it's time to retire. Besides Dunleavy doesn't do anywhere near as bad a job as some moan and groan about.

I don't care if he's Bobby Orr, the best defenseman in 30 years, I just want him to be a true and good #1 defenseman. This team is so devoid of talent on the backend that I'M PUMPED to have this guy. PUMP UP THE HYPE MACHINE. If he's anywhere as good as they project, I've got my Elvis Costello tune PUMP IT UP, ready and primed to blare.
-
Especially with it being one or our #1s

You have no idea what went on behind the scenes nor does anyone else here, your making sh!t up. I don't recall anyone affiliated with the team that bad mouthed Gionta during his stint here. And you have zero knowledge of what conversations went on between Bylsma and Gionta.
-
Couldn't have said this any better. Hopefully it works out in the end but in the mean time, not making any contact with his agent to keep him sounds like they had no plans to keep him. Then they wonder why the return was so little. If the Sharks resign him at least they'll get a lower #1 next year. Then you have a couple of guys on this site spreading rumors and BS, like they really know anything that's going on with the team much less Kane.
-
Good post, nothing is going to miraculously happen overnight. You wait for the young guys to mature and add a piece or 2 every year. That's how you mold a team. Sometimes it happens fast sometimes it doesn't but if you keep getting rid or your best players, your taking one step forward and 2 back. By changing the roster too much your not building any chemistry within the team. The Jets are the perfect example right now of building a team.

Haven't lived in Buffalo for years but I never heard of a steak sub, it was always a Steak Hoagie at least in South Buffalo
