I get root sports and watch a fair bit of the Pens. I'd take Paul over Dan, hands down.

It's this goal that has me the most excited right now. A defense-man in front of the net on the rush. He backed the whole Pens team down low setting up the shot by the last skater entering the zone. Tell me the last time a Sabre team has done this? Edit, and puck control from end to end.

We traveled 11 hours to Millersville Tn for the eclipse. Total eclipse was for 2 minutes 33 seconds. Looked at the eclipsed sun almost the whole time through binoculars. To see the solar flares like that is the one of the most amazing experience's ever. Like seeing one of the natural wonders of the world first hand. To experience all the automatic lights come on, how cool it got, the cicadas and crickets start singing then to all stop 2 minutes later was very cool. I am not blind today or have any lingering affects. Both hands where on the binoculars the whole time. ;)

His 2.1% of cap salary is hoping he plays at a third line level.

He is over paid with his stats under Dan and Nolan. The minimum salary is $650,000 from what I can gather, so he is at 2.5 times that. IIRC someone on SS believes that a forward is worth +/- $100,000 per goal. He has had an 8,15,7 and 7 goal seasons. His trend is a $700,000 to 1.5 mill per year player. He needs to play at his 14-15 years season level to live up to this contract.

Let me see if I get the *big picture* that Disney is now going to operate under... They where losing money (in their eyes) under they old cable/dish format by over charging millions of people for programs they didn't want so..... They have decided to way over charge only the people that really want their programs ( which is millions fewer in number from the old way) and figure they are going to make more money? I know millennials want what they want and want it now, but they are very frugal.

FGMTM in any other US city would be JAG, because so few US hockey city's fans know what their GMs looks like. In Buffalo he's a drunk because everyone knows what he looks like and every time he goes out a picture gets put on the web. How many times did he go out? Once a week? Once a month? Big town anonymity has it's positives.
