We have a lot of information from a lot of *experts* that come to us daily with advice and knowledge ( stats) and more often than not their opinions vary greatly. A person processes it and deals with it, depending on which expert you think is right that person is either an idiot or a genius.

Wife and myself do volunteer work, 1 of the programs has cancelled and 1 has not. The only conundrum that would have us both in a very similar routine as you.

For how long and when will you know it's ok to resume normal* life? The end result I took from the article is it has to be an all or nothing response. Everyone stays in for 2 weeks or else we might as well all continue our lives as normal. I do grabble with the same question as you. Do I limit activities outside my home to those only necessary for survival (work/food/medications)? No social functions, eating or drinking out. But for how long and would it made a difference if I start today and some portion of people around me didn't? Would my chances of being affected get reduced?

Been a Tim Connolley fan since the time he played with the Otters. Never personally understood the disfavor that fans came to because of his very well documented head injuries. Was glad to see him for the reunion for the 2000's night and how well he looked and acted. This article is even better news.

Really need to win this one in regulation so we don't go another season without a regulation win in March, and with the very real threat of the season getting canned this might be the last chance. So this really is a ... MUST WIN!

I beg to differ on that. There is some sense of civility here. Occasionally there is a rattle of sabres to be heard no doubt, but we all get along better than the rest.

Holy Cow! I'd have to fire every truck driver, maintenance person and mechanic that I ever had work for me if all it takes is a disagreement and a some swearing. Heck, that's how every morning started!

You'll probably find some really cheap seats on Stub Hub but.... Their fees will be more than the tickets. There's usually a few posters on here that have great STH seats that are happy to sell them to you for the going rate of Stub Hub and you both split the difference of the fees. They make a little more and you pay a little less. A win win. Shop around online. See how much they charge for processing fees and ticket prices then ask if anyone wants to sell some. I'll bet they will be very fair.

Another thing to remember as we compare re-builds... Other teams have had a good minor league system to bring players up in. The Sabres haven't had that in over a decade. Darcy didn't have that in his final (3-5?) years . Pegula had to buy the team to keep from having to shop teams to be our farm team on a regular basis. GMTM left the cupboards as bare as he found them when he got fired. It took Boterill to come in and get a respectable farm team up and running. We've only had a decent farm system for the last three years in the last 10 to 15 years.

One more Lazar level center on that 3rd line would push MarJo to wing and that line would be the best 3rd line we've had in a decade.

Maturity and confidence. Dahlin is 19, let him mature and get his confidence. He's good enough obviously to be in the NHL but a good coach should also know how to bring him along and know his limitations. When he's 22-23 and not playing all facets of the game then I'll be upset/worried. I'm also not saying he shouldn't play on the PK now. But if Krueger believes that it's to much to ask of him I will respect that decision.

I have a 1 bedroom half bath, missing the toilet but there is an out-house. All this way cheaper than going to a hockey game once a week.

I have higher hopes for Casey now than I would have for a player in a similar situation 4 or five years ago because I believe Rochester is finally a good farm club for the Sabres. It took Pegula buying it and Botterill a few years to turn it around but it is an asset to the parent club that it hasn't been in well over a decade.

He's a +1. He's minus 1 on goals allowed but a plus 2 on baby makers rung.

If he's been here to short of a time it's difficult to argue one way or another whether he is good or bad on either of the special teams.
