  1. Lets hope we get to the playoffs before his buyout expires.
  2. So he wasn't good on the PK narrative is just as false given these factors?
  3. One loss and two baby makers down. Heck, that's a good night for him, he didn't get hurt.
  4. Hey Tampa! There's a reason he couldn't crack the lineup on a team playing their hearts out just to make the playoffs for the 1st time in 7 years. Good luck with that.
  5. I'm more interested if MJO Lazar Simmonds is the line that gets formed.
  6. Come on buff, we all know you've already done an internet search a long time a go for Asslesschap and already know the results. ? A serious question... Do chaps come with an arse? ?
  7. He seems genuinely positive about this trade in that interview. Not just saying the ripe old vet made for TV/radio responses.
  8. If we have meaningful games come late March I'll be happy.
  9. If you're going to flash your twit around these parts you better darn well make sure it's on the up-n-up. ?
  10. It's still low enough he doesn't need an all world player to hold his own on a line.
  11. He played a lot with Malkin. I will assume he is a good player, but might not be the one that is the alpha dog driver of that line.
  12. That would still be a good trade if he's a serviceable 3rd line winger. A very good trade if he works at center.
  13. From his stats and bio he looks like a younger Larrson. If that is true we might just have 3 legitimate 3rd line centers. Which is the best we've had since Sabotka went down.
  14. Right now Jimmy's cost per point (per cap friendly) is $120,000.00. If he gets 30 points for the 19/20 season and we use his current pay per point he is looking at a contract of around 3.6 mill per season. His current cap hit is 2.3 mill per season. Larrson is at $97 k per point and Zemgus is at $89 k per point as a reference guide. I would expect if we should make him an offer he would be in the Larry/ Zemgus cost per point range of around 2.8 mill per season.
  15. Tampa is getting him at 1/4 the cost the Sabres were paying him? Not sure he is worth it. Bet he doesn't make the end of the season without injury or benching.
  16. I shot the sheriff... But I didn't shoot the deputy....
  17. Make it hard for JB to trade us off this team, we are trying to do that.
  18. If you told me on Sat AM that the Sabres would get 2 points and look good in both games I'd take it. 4 points and look really good? I'd like your optimism. Kyle just gave a great interview.
  19. Jo-Jo is Tall-Tall Wide-Wide
  20. 2-1 with a minute left in the 3rd and the Sabres held the opponent with out a shot for the last 7 minutes. Nice.
  21. That makes it even better!
  22. Toronto lost to New Jersey. We are catching up on them in the standings. The Zamboni driver was in goal for New Jersey because their two goalies got injured by the mid way point of the second period. Hate on this team all you want but we have yet to lose to a Zamboni driver in goal.
  23. Wouldn't it be something if we see him this afternoon in Pittsburgh?
  24. Mines always hot when it's doin the boogie. ?
  25. Quick math says that's an 8% increase. I'll take an 8% pay increase over last year and think it very healthy. When your at 2.67 an 8% increase is only for special players. So relatively speaking that is quite the jump.
