A seasoned speed/skill team comes out with the trap against a young team with questionable goal tending. Why? The second period starts and it's a close game with the trap still being used. Granato has to be ok with this, a shakey goal tender with a young team playing low event hockey. The Pens win the period but the Sabre's have had some great chances. What does Granato do? The third period starts and we find out. He lets his pony's run. The Pens looked liked they where just trying to hang on. Was it sustainable to run and gun with the Pens for three periods? A goalie with a little confidence on Sunday answered that question.
