I'll look again Friday toward the end of happy hour and see if I can be enlightened, cause I see the same as NS. We all know NS doesn't drink so I think the rest of you have been day drinking ..... again.
-
Not sure either. I can see what appears to be engine foot/guards and thought adventure touring. So I was assuming the BMW because I am least familiar with them of the adventure bikes. I thought I could spot the Yamaha/KTM/Triumph models.

The scenery is awsome! But I eye-spied a BMW(?). There is more to this than a casual drive in the country me thinks.

This was a very nice way to start out a Friday morning. Thanks to all that posted. Very good call nfreeman.

What? You must be one of those goals need scored people. The league does not know of your existence. Your the NHL"s sasquatch. I'm with you by the way, huddled in the woods

Very true.

Thanks for the persistence dudacek. I've been lost for a while and glad you asked all the questions. Always seemed to me they where skinning the same dead cat till desired results where achieved. What all this proves to me the most is, a trained eye from a coach, GM or scout is still far more valuable then the accumulation of a player stats.

You think a young Brian Campbell is the solution? Or a fast skating Franson type? And I mention Franson because I thought he was our only D-man that regularly hit a streaking forward through the neutral zone with a nice 30-40 foot pass. It would be nice to see a true top 2 pair d-man added, but the chances of that happening have equal odds with winning the draft lottery in my eyes. Who every we get will be an upgrade to the current roster. Not that there are 200 d-men out there better than ours, just that GMTM will be selective shopping and not looking for warm bodies. It's just nice to know we are in playoff push mode, and not draft high mode. I fully expect to be in the first round next year with no major additions. Cola will be upgraded. Matty Mo will find himself watching more with a to-be-determined off season acquired player pushing him. So we will add a d-man and a top 6 forward, but not of the caliper to get us to the SC finals. It's baby step time to us, but major leaps and bounds for youngsters on the ice.

No No No When I die I want my own thread. -
Down hill yes! Up hill  They are a bit heavy, but I think it's safe to say the frame alone is not the culprit. The crank arm, handle bars and seat post would be my main areas to look at weight savings from the *old bikes*. Mattpie has the *buy the new light one and add a front fork tube set* plan. Which seems quite reasonable. Just seems like you're going to lay out some major bucks either route if you want light and rigid. Is *rigid* ok to use? Just recently I found out that moist is a bad word. Hoping rigid isn't on the same list.

Wegman's Probiotic Kefur. You'll find it in the dairy case next to the yogurts. It's a yogurt smoothy concoction. Works for me for upper and lower GI.

I have 2 of them. A Giant and a Trek circa 1995 rigid frames. The Giant I got for a great deal 20 years ago because the guy wanted to upgrade to a suspension bike. I can tell you why I will never sell them. Because it's impossible to find nice used rigid mountain bikes. :P The last time I was on Craigslist poking around for used bikes I found a guy wanting $300.00 for a rigid Trek 830 (or maybe 930?). I'm pretty sure that is what I paid for mine new. It's not just you that prefers rigid. The youngins are coming around to the *old school* stuff in these parts.

Stick it out and good job so far. Addicted to Copenhagen for 22 years myself. I hope at one point the smell of it will repulse you as it does me now. That day is a very good day and gets here quicker than you think.

Lunquist got hit in the *I* hole. Pens score. The broadcast crew is worse than the officiating crew. Hockey has to be the only sport where muting the TV is advisable.

At some point in the last few years Alex figured out that the cup was more important than his personal stats. That's when they became my root for playoff team. Mike W on the team was a lot of frosting and a cherry on top.

UFA College Defenseman Casey Nelson signs with Sabres
woods-racer replied to inkman's topic in The Aud Club
I got that also. Especially with the *.....not sure if he will be a 1-2 or 5-6 pairing...* comment The *5-6* I automatically took as if he figures he has Franson's spot next year if nothing else.
