Alex could get called up and outscore his brother for a few games. I would love to rub that in Leafs fans faces. I haven't given up on him yet, he may fit in better at the NHL level. He probably needs to be on the top 2 lines to showcase his skills. He may be unsuitable for the 3rd or 4th lines in order to crack a lineup.

It would take a few pieces but Edmonton is always looking for help on D. Nugent Hopkins is playing LW with McJesus at the moment with Draisaitl as 2C. Guhle is an Alberta boy and could be a part of it. RNH is a solid 2C.

Agreed. Also like your earlier comparison of Skinner and Verbeek. Verbeek did score over 500 goals in this league. Thoughts and prayers for RJ.

Guhle can skate like the wind and that is a solid building block for today's game. GMTM also liked that he was among the top athletes at the combine. Let the coaches and staff develop him properly and he could be a 4-5 guy in Buffalo. Confidence is a big thing with young players, and I hope they do this right.

Yeah, I was hoping for more, he was a decent goal scorer in STL. His big body and faceoff ability was definitely an asset for that line.

Happy to see that this is resolved fairly quickly. I was hoping for Berglund to make a contribution this year, 15 or so goals, but he obviously wasn't going to help. The cap savings is going to help tremendously, I hope JBot is hunting around for some centremen, at least for the short term.

As I stated in a follow up post, I think he will eclipse Salming. A HHOF career is a great achievement for Borje, he was a great Dman on some lousy teams for a long time. He was a good stickhandler, very elusive with the puck and more physical than he got credit for. Anyway, Orr is the pinnacle and a Potvin, Lidstrom and Bourque like career is possible for Rasmus.

I realize that. I just think Rasmus' style resembles Salming's more than Robinson, Leetch or even Bourque. I think he will be better than Salming, and hope that is the low end of his spectrum.
