It's a game of chicken, the bubble teams will sort themselves out closer to the deadline and the domino effect will push those trigger fingers. My fear all along about holding Kane until the deadline was of his injury history. However, he is not playing like Kane so the chance of an injury is greatly decreased. He will crash and bang for his new playoff team.

Hope Lehner beats these guys, reminding them how they may be in the playoffs with him between the pipes.

I liked watching Antipin as well, mistakes and all. I thought he would be a good fit in Housley's system and contribute offensively. I hope he has a good game, forcing their hand at keeping him in the lineup.

This is an important game for the Oilers as they have 3 wins in a row and need many more to have a sniff at the playoffs. The Sabres need to embrace the spoiler role and rebuild their reputation one win at a time. Go Sabres!
