I guess you aren't in Buffalo. I saw a Halifax Mooseheads sweater at the rink and some guy was yelling Zadina during the Czech- Russia game.

I'm going with 5 other family members. I've been through a lot colder weather but usually have the option of moving around or working to stay warm. All of my cold weather gear is with me. Hope it's a good game, they were talking about 38,000 tickets sold as of last night. That won't be the look they were hoping for on TV. That number will boost the overall attendance, which has been low, thus far.

I've got tickets for both, probably walk around the rink a lot during the Swiss game.

I could be wrong but I think it was Norris and Harper. They had Tkachuk, Yamamoto and Brown as line #1. A lot of Casey's standout play was on the PP.

I agree that the net was off on that first goal. The puck may have been in on Foote's save but it was a swatting motion with his hand.

Risto was hanging around the Finn broadcast centre before and after an interview. My son got his autograph and a picture. That game could have gone either way, Canada's first goal probably should not have counted in my opinion and Foote's save on the goal line looked in. Luukonen looked OK, made some juice saves, he's huge.

I know it was only Denmark but Mittelstadt looked really good. He skates well and is what I call nifty. It could be too cute against strong D but he is a good puck handler. The power play seemed to revolve around him.

Maybe I'm pessimistic but I keep going back to his history of missing 20 games every year. He is due to get hurt and it may make him impossible to trade. I don't think he re-signs here so we lose him for nothing in July. Yes he is a good player but trade him while his value is at a career high. He may have matured a bit but I still don't think he is the type of leader they need.

Only caught the third of last night's game, it was entertaining game. At least I got to see all of the goals. I doubt Phil has any lineup changes, winning usually does that. Go Sabres.

I like Sam and hope this helps him and the team turn a corner. He's better than this year's production. It could also be a showcase stint for a trade.

Some positives: Except for the third, I thought KO had a good game. Zemgus was physical and hustled. Lehner was solid except on the first goal.

Rob is blaming ERod and Sam on the goal. Yes, they stood around, but the puck was on Kane's stick few feet from our blue line and he didn't get it out.

My snack now seems less appealing...

I know Kane had to pick a corner, but you need to hit the net to score or get a rebound.

Weren't Marcus and Tyler just chirping about bring in a winning organization? If you're not producing on a good club, you lose your spot. Moulson got 4 assists in the AHL last night. If he keeps that up we may get a roll of tape for him.

My concern with his injury history is not the Sabres extending him (don't see that happening), but getting hurt before the deadline so he is immovable. Then he signs out west on July 1st. I would trade him ASAP, provided there are a few teams interested and bidding up the return. You don't need the Darcy top of the line return, just something solid. NHL ready prospect(s) and picks would do it for me.

I'm watching. Two lousy teams who have recently found some traction. Let's best these guys.
