  1. It’s extremely easy to say you would’ve accepted a long-term deal after you’ve been traded. He sure didn’t give off this vibe at his end of the year presser.
  2. I’m brining my turkey in a bag. Of course, the bag ripped on the bottom side. So I used my daughter’s hair ties on both sides, like a hard candy, to seal it. First time doing this.
  3. There’s gonna come a time when there no more manuals made. I drive a manual 2008 BMW 328xi. It’s not made anymore.
  4. I don’t think Granato is going to have traditional 1st line, 2nd line, etc. The lines will be fairly equal, but with some differentiation. He will deploy which line based on the match up. And skew usage based on in-game effectiveness.
  5. Speaking of Arizona, I would give them a ring and see what they want for Hutton.
  6. By the time we’re winning again, the white, black, and red will be considered vintage.
  7. He probably didn’t sign because we had traded for Lehner 2 years before. In an alternate universe, we don’t trade away the 21st pick in 2015, but pick Boeser instead. Cal Petersen decides to sign with us and we make the playoffs last year.
  8. I don’t think anyone here is advocating putting all rookies on the same line. If 1/4 of all our forwards are rookies, this isn’t so bad, especially is they are evenly distributed. Likewise, Mule and Power won’t likely be on the same pair. Plus, Mule is highly likely to be called up relatively soon. So, next year, he won’t be so fresh.
  9. Agreed. That Power will be in the AHL next season is a head scratcher. I mean, what? He was the first player chosen in last year’s draft and has taken a large step already from where he was at draft time. Given our current talent, he could be playing on our team this year if he needed to.
  10. I think it’s ironic we purposely tanked for a “generational talent” and didn’t get him. Then we just plain sucked, won the lottery, and drafted the “generational talent” known as Rasmus Dahlin.
  11. It’s never too early to begin planning a tank.
  12. Come on, push you’re prejudices aside. If Anderson was healthy, he would started and Toker wouldn’t have back-to-back starts. That’s just addressing one player. I’m not sure we would’ve won, but fairly certain we wouldn’t have been embarrassed 5-0.
  13. That’s what we all say. Love the pun.
  14. Didn’t you just answer your own question?
  15. They’re afraid they might break him. Sort of like grandma’s China.
  16. We need to become a better 3rd period team.
  17. GMTM would be scrambling for the phone at this point.
  18. I would be looking to move him for a RHD of similar prospect level now. He’s not a sure thing, so would not be irresponsible by trading him. But, will be better asset control. We need more RHD prospects and also can’t afford to lose him for nothing. I’m sure there’s a GM out there will an abundance of RHD and little RHD that would listen. I would do this before trading Bryson.
  19. Of course. Should’ve been more clear for the concrete thinkers. They are playing a game that is sold to spectators to watch. These injuries are a direct result of said game. Spectators should have an idea of their work-related injuries.
  20. Yeah, we’ll that’s really *****. We would expect that once they are fully healed, then these are not targetable.
  21. I really don’t like the NHL’s handling of injuries. I get it, privacy. But, these players aren’t exactly private citizens. It would be nice to know exactly what injuries they have and how long they will be out.
  22. If I were Arizona, I’d try to swing a trade to get Hall. They need their charm back.
