After the first two losses I said those two losses are essentially not something to worry about at that point. Now I am in the worry camp. Other teams are pulling away and November into December may be a sprint just to catch up. That leaves only about two months or so to pull away and secure a playoff birth.

Yes to all of these responses. Exactly what I thought when I heard the guy say it.

I said this last season. DG is a developmental horse whisperer guy. As an assistant coach under an experienced and successful head coach, the team would benefit IMO. That said, wins and losses are on the players. Not DG fault TT tries to make stupid passes or that Tuch has been irrelevant.

I was listening to a hockey podcast on the NHL Network. The guy said it’s demoralizing for the Sabres players to see a half empty building. Clearly this guy doesn’t get the idea people don’t like spending their money on garbage products.

Things like who the coach puts on the ice and when to pull the goalie are 100% on DG. Players making bad decisions or not finishing on ice are 100% on them.

Sounds like it’s the guys on the ice not finishing and/or making bad decisions. Why then are people blaming the coaching? Coach can’t skate next to them. They need to be big boys and win the game where it matters, on the ice, not the bench.

I really like the confidence Peterka has so far this year. Very deliberate in his execution, no hesitation. Cozens is starting to find his game. Fast and creative. Greenway is now one of my favorites. Johnson is a pleasant surprise.

Middle six looks like chewed up dog ****. Correction. The TT and Jost lines are garbage.

Oh that’s just pure skill. Pretty much sums up Lindros’ career when you think about it.

I thought this was gonna be one of those threads where a “ghost” is in a picture someone took but it’s really them sucking at taking a picture. Like Angels in the Outfield but it’s a demon controlling Clifton’s body making him a liability.

I don’t what the deal is with not shooting. The PP looks like garbage. How you don’t have someone screening the goalie is weird. You literally have more players in the ice than the other team. Shoot for a rebound or something.

Sabres fans are in full fool me once, fool me twice mode. We stuck with this franchise through a lot more suffering than even Darcy probably anticipated. I’m surprised ticket sales are as good as they are.

Benson will score his first goal soon. I know it. He can play at this level. Being in the third line is a good fit for his transition and development. I do not see reason enough to send him down after nine games. I am inclined to think it would be counterproductive to his development.

Not to be negative but if this one goes south I think a more aggressive change to the line combinations needs to happen. I’m fully aware it’s only the third game but they’ve been out scored by almost three times as much.

Apparently DG did not read my proposed lines. As a fan I am a customer of the on ice product. The customer is always right.

I think China would definitely want a “peaceful” reunification. The power vacuum in the Middle East post U.S. GWOT is probably enticing to them as they continue to expand their reach/influence. Any way to divert U.S. assets and attention is a win for Russia and China IMO. Nice post BTW!

Agree on your sentiments. It looks like the ground invasion is a go but I can see the U.S. talking Israel out of it. We’ll see. This whole thing has broader potential IMO. Russia has its own ties in the region with entities we are not friends with. Those guys are friends with Hamas and Hezbollah.

Yeah, aside from loss of civilian life, the more people in the city the more difficult it will be.
