  1. Benson on a line with Thompson and Tuch solidifies the season is over. It’s tryout time and showcasing for the rest of the year.
  2. The backup should get about 25 games. With this type of effort that gets you probably 13-17 wins.
  3. If I’m Peterka I tell KA I want to get paid. I use Cozens and Power as examples. If he’s willing to give big contracts to players who mean/meant less on this team, he should be willing to give big money to one who actually helps.
  4. If he goes in there he likely gets a penalty. That’s why you don’t really see DMen come in anymore on those little scrums.
  5. Dahlin has 13 goals on a bottom feeder team. He’d have 20 on a top 10 team, I think.
  6. Agree to disagree but brining Reimer back might not be a bad idea. He’s steady and that’s something a team with this many holes needs. We have almost the same issues as years past to include starting goaltending.
  7. Reimer is definitely not young anymore but his veteran goaltending is evident. He’s focused, no unnecessary movements, and anticipates plays well. The anticipation part definitely comes from experience our other two severely lack.
  8. Reimer is a very composed goalie. No wasted movements to stay in position. He looks slow when moving but that’s because our other two goalies are spastic.
  9. I think these remaining games are Brett Murray’s last chance. He’ll get all kinds of different opportunities to see where he could fit. I think he’s done here when his contract is up.
  10. Peterka should be about an annual 30 goal scorer by the time he’s in his prime. Gotta lock him up long term.
  11. Bernard-Docker with the ill advised play leads to a scoring chance.
  12. Good luck getting a job that requires a poly when you get older 😂
  13. Couple years ago I bought into UPL. I thought we at least fixed the goaltending issue and could build out from there. Now I’m worried we’re going into the offseason with similar gaps as years before.
  14. It already was IMO. The use or threat of violence for religious, political, or ideological goals. Different agencies have their verbiage but in general that’s what it is. In my experience people who openly call for their country to burn down are susceptible to supporting or committing acts of terrorism. Of course that was in other places. But what do I know about dealing with terrorists? 😂
  15. They should probably reexamine domestic terrorism laws. The way things are going and the way people are evolving or devolving, it could get worse. Its a powder keg IMO.
  16. Agree on the progressive part. Cant argue the second. Bold: was just asking. Chill
  17. You’ll be in my neck of the woods. A few hours away.
  18. Are you saying the idea was to piss off the left in hopes their reaction would draw a counter reaction of more conservative voters? Like I said I’m more focused on the foreign stuff right now. Largely because it’s what most/all of my adult life has been spent on. Not complaining about that.
  19. Last day working from home on a certification. Looking forward to getting back to work onsite.
  20. I don’t doubt Putin wants to restore Russian borders to a Soviet era. Invading might overstretch his forces. Like I said before, one on one with Ukraine, Russia has advantages. Fighting on multiple fronts is different. However, he could try to destabilize Balkan countries to weaken them within. I don’t know the current tensions of every single country but we all know ethnic tensions have led to genocide in that part of the world. A destabilized country would be easier to invade or at the very least tie up other NATO members. How Russia could go about doing this is another discussion.
  21. It’s possible. Was probably so focused on keeping the play alive he didn’t see the refs arm go up. No idea if his teammates tried telling him.
