  1. You bet. Did you scroll all the way to the end of my post. You're good and I was jsut horsin' around. And your second point is spot on.
  2. Is this just you messing with us ? Do you have a sourse for this ? Not questioning you per se, but this seems a bit like a fan tossing out his opinion, which is fine, but it may be a bit far fetched to say *Sabres still in on so and so* without some backup to it.
  3. Any warm body that keeps Bryson and Kale out of the lineup is worthy of consideration, IMO. Luke may not bring a lot, but he is a warm body that would play before Bryson and that other guy. He also brings a hard nosed style with a lot of playoff experience, including 2 cups. I think I would do it for a 2nd since the Sabres have 3. How many players on the Sabres active roster have any playoff experience ? Off the top of my head ... Tuch and KO I think is it. Depending how everything works out I think I would sign him for next season at a $1M.
  4. Does it have to be their own pick? Could they give up the dastardly Flyer or almost dastardly Vegas pick they got in trades? With three 2nds might the Sabres consider it?
  5. So funny. It was posted in another thread, but this is so cool that I like it here. It's easier to find this way when I need a laugh. Like just now.
  6. All hail the rugged Pilut. Bryson reminds me more of Minnie Mouse than Mighty or even Mickey.
  7. A late 3rd or early 4th for Schenn ? That doesn't seem right. If that's the price WTF is Adams waiting for ?? It has to be that pick ++ a prospect or two or something. eh?
  8. There's still time. He will demand a trade any day now.
  9. The Matt Ellis of first line centres.
  10. There is always that one dude that insists on throwing the turd in the punchbowl and ruins the party, eh. (insert winkie thingie here)
  11. And the highest goal differential. In most real sports that is the first tiebraker.
  12. Worth every penny. His goal last night was something else.
  13. Say whatever you will about his term in office, but I don't think that anyone will argue that he was not a great ambassador for peace and humanitarianism since he left office. Please try not to bash him and his Presidency. It ended over 40 years ago. He is home with his family and receiving hospice care there and foregoing any further medical treatments. He has done more for the plight of the Palestinians than just about anyone. Not to mention Habitat For Humanity. Thoughts and Prayers. https://www.cbc.ca/news/world/jimmy-carter-hospice-care-1.6753516?cmp=rss
  14. I knew that I could count on you. Some other super rich jackass has made an extra time announcement concerning Man U. At least he is English ... Sir Jackass. 6.5 Billion Pounds is so outrageous that it's beyond mind boggling.
  15. He must have been really bad to be sent to The Great Satan. He is there for the playoff as The Great Satan GM is at the plate with 2 outs in the bottom of the ninth and the count on him is at least 0 and 2. Not sure he has more than one strike left. There is no possible way they sign ROR in July. No team can retain salary then like the Minnsies did this time.
  16. MUST WIN!! GO SABRES!! I know that there are no easy games in the NHL, but the Sabres should win. 11:30 PM game time is very late for old guy NS. Even on a Saturday night. And I have to be up early Sunday morning.
  17. So, has he been traded yet? Dude may not play again this season.
  18. The super rich have already ruined football so who cares about another ... https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2023/2/18/qatar-based-bid-for-manchester-united-confirmed-on-deadline-day
  19. I still think he will the best Sabre goalie since Hasek. Better than Miller. I don't think any others between Hasek and Miller were very good. In fact, there probably aren't any. Certainly better than any since Miller.
  20. He was as big a part of the early success of the Sabres as anyone. Brilliant PR guy.
  21. The fact that these two players said it carries significant weight in my mind. They are both young, but have been around different teams and coaches. I really do think that they are on to something here. Regardless of playoffs or not I really think that DG is a finalist for the Adams. I believe he has a good chance to win it.
  22. 11 in 1973.
